Can I use Stripe in India for my restaurant's online orders?
Updated 4 October 2026
Not freely yet. Stripe lists India as a preview country with a request-an-invite button, not open sign-up.
- Stripe's own pages: India is marked Preview, with Contact sales or Request an invite.
- Indian restaurants often take online payments through Razorpay or Easebuzz instead.
- Check Stripe's page again before you decide, as availability can change.
- Whichever gateway you use, the money should go to your own account.
Online payments to your own account
In India, Menuthere connects online payments on your own Razorpay or Easebuzz account, so the money goes to you.
