What happens when a customer outside my delivery area tries to order?
Updated 5 October 2026
They cannot order delivery. With a delivery radius, the customer is asked to switch to takeaway instead of placing an order you cannot deliver.
- With drawn delivery zones, an address outside every zone cannot order delivery from you.
- The customer can still choose takeaway if you offer it.
- The check happens before the order is placed, so nobody pays for a delivery that cannot happen.
- Change your radius or zones any time if you want to reach further.
Stop undeliverable orders before they start
Menuthere checks the customer's address against your delivery radius or drawn zones before the order goes through, and offers takeaway when it is out of reach.
