Questions owners ask

Answered, plainly.

List your staff, then list the shifts you run, such as morning, evening, split and off. Pick the week's start date and tap each box in the grid to set a shift. Check the hours per person and per day, then print the roster and put it up where staff can see it.

From the hours you give each shift. A morning shift of 8 hours counts 8 each time you use it. The tool does not read the times you type, so set the hours to match, with breaks taken out if you do not pay for them. A day off counts 0.

The tool adds up the hours you enter. It does not check them against any law, so it will not warn you about long days, rest periods or overtime. Check the working-hour rules for your country with your labour authority.

It is saved in your own browser, on your device, as you work, so it is there when you come back. Nothing is sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it. Use Next to move to the following week and keep the same pattern.

Download the PDF and print it on A4 paper in landscape, at 100% size. Up to 16 staff fit on one sheet. The Plain design uses black and white only, which is cheaper to print.

On a phone, tap Share to send the roster as an image to a WhatsApp group. On a computer, download the image and attach it to a message. You can also print the PDF and pin it up in the kitchen.
