Baemin charges restaurants in South Korea 2.0% to 7.8% of the order when its riders deliver, depending on the restaurant's Baemin sales, plus a delivery fee of 1,900 to 3,400 won an order. It's 6.8% if you deliver yourself or the customer picks up. A payment fee of 1.4% to 3% and 10% VAT come on top.

On top of the commission: a payment fee of 3% of the order, cut to 1.4%–2.4% on card payments for businesses with annual sales up to 3 billion won, plus VAT. These are the rates from 14 August 2026.
VAT on the commission
Yes. Baemin's commission, delivery fee and payment fee exclude VAT, and 10% VAT is added. Baemin lists them as purchases in the VAT-filing data it gives restaurants, so a VAT-registered restaurant can usually deduct it.
Delivery fee
1,900 to 3,400 won an order on Baemin Delivery, set by your sales band and region, plus VAT. The customer's delivery tip is separate.
Ads
Optional. Our Store Click (우리가게클릭) is charged per click at a bid you set; in smart mode the maximum bid is 600 to 1,000 won, plus VAT.

Worth knowing
Win-win plan. The tiered rates come from an agreement reached in November 2024 in a council of the delivery apps, restaurant groups, government agencies and public-interest members. Before it, the commission on delivery by the app's riders was 9.8%. Baemin applies it automatically from 26 February 2025 to 25 February 2028.
Proposed cap. Bills before the National Assembly in September 2026 would cap what a delivery app takes in total at 15% of the order: one counts commission, payment fees and ads, another adds the delivery fee. None has passed. The Fair Trade Commission's chair said on 21 September 2026 that the total burden on restaurants should come down.
On 26 February 2026 Baemin renamed its services: Baemin1 Plus became Baemin Delivery, Open List became Store Delivery and Baemin Pickup became Pickup. Prices didn't change.
Coupang Eats charges the same tiered rates under the same agreement.
Uber agreed in July 2026 to buy Delivery Hero, Baemin's parent company, and Baemin is among the businesses it would take over. The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2027.
