Deliveroo doesn't publish its commission in Ireland; each restaurant's rate is set in its agreement, as a percentage of the order value including VAT, plus VAT. Public reports put commissions at roughly 25% to 35% of the order, so treat these figures as approximate.

Yes. Deliveroo's Irish terms charge its fee plus VAT at the prevailing rate, which is 23% in Ireland. A VAT-registered business can usually deduct it.

Once, and it depends on whether you use your own device or lease a Deliveroo tablet. Deliveroo shows the amount on its sign-up pages.
Cancellations you cause

Worth knowing
Offer pricing. You can't run a discount on the whole order if you raised the prices of the items in it by more than 5% in the 30 days before, and you can't raise them by more than 5% in the 30 days after it ends.
Deliveroo works out its fee on the order value including VAT.
DoorDash completed its takeover of Deliveroo on 2 October 2025. The announcement didn't mention any change to restaurant fees.
