One RM 40 order on GrabFood
GrabFood keeps 30.0% of every order — RM 3,600 a month, or RM 43,200 a year at your volume.
The same order on your own ordering page
Moving 90 orders a month (30%) to your own link keeps RM 972 a month in your business — RM 11,664 a year.
Figures are estimates from the numbers you enter. GrabFood agreements differ by plan, location and volume, and platforms change their fees, so your GrabFood payout statement is the source of truth. The direct column assumes every order is paid by card at about 3%; cash and pay-at-counter orders cost nothing. See how direct ordering works on commission-free online ordering.
Worth knowing
Exclusivity complaint. In August 2025 a report to the Malaysia Competition Commission accused Grab of exclusivity clauses that stop its Signature Merchants listing on foodpanda or ShopeeFood, and asked for an investigation.
eats365 calls GrabFood the market leader in Malaysia, with the highest commission of the three big apps; it puts foodpanda at about 20–30% and ShopeeFood at about 15–25%.
According to that report, as FocusMalaysia described it in August 2025, brands such as Subway and Baskin Robbins became available only on Grab under Signature Merchant deals.
