HungerStation doesn't publish its commission in Saudi Arabia; each restaurant's rate is set in its contract. Public reports put it at roughly 15% to 25% of the order value, and some guides go up to 30%, so treat these figures as approximate.

The rates
Your own agreement with HungerStation sets your rate. These approximate ranges come from public sources, listed at the foot of the page.

Card processing
HungerStation doesn't publish a card fee. Flow says payment processing adds about 1–2% on Saudi delivery apps, so check your contract.

Figures are estimates from the numbers you enter. HungerStation agreements differ by plan, location and volume, and platforms change their fees, so your HungerStation payout statement is the source of truth. Worth knowing
Competition authority. Saudi Arabia's General Authority for Competition consulted on draft food-delivery guidelines in March 2025, covering predatory pricing, selling below cost, exclusive contracts and discrimination between restaurants. It sets no cap on commission.
In 2022 the newspaper Al Eqtisadiah, working from the apps' contracts with merchants, put HungerStation's commission at 23%, the highest of the five apps it compared. The average was 18%. The owner of a Riyadh tea brand told 36Kr in 2024 that HungerStation charged a fixed commission of about 15%.
Keeta, the international arm of China's Meituan, entered Saudi Arabia in 2024 with heavy discounts. Redseer says three apps now hold more than 90% of the market; Shgardi, a smaller rival, stopped operating at the end of October 2025.
Argaam compared menu prices in January 2026 and found some meals cost 20% to more than 80% more on delivery apps than in the restaurant's own app.
The chairman of Mukatafa, a Saudi foundation, said in February 2026 that delivery commissions in Saudi Arabia are among the highest in the world, and that small restaurants have little room to negotiate.
Uber agreed in July 2026 to buy Delivery Hero, HungerStation's parent company. The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2027.
