Included in the commission. Uber Eats lists payment processing in every plan, with no separate card fee.
GST on the commission
Yes. Uber Eats' terms say its fees exclude GST and the restaurant pays GST on top, at 10%. Uber requires merchants to be registered for GST, and registered businesses can claim GST credits.
Activation fee
A$700 plus GST for each new location, taken from your payouts in weekly instalments, and A$350 plus GST for each location after that.
Device damage fee
A$200 plus GST for each device that's lost, damaged or not returned.

Worth knowing
Uber Eats works out its percentage on the item price including GST.
Pickup went up to 8%: Uber's Australian pricing page listed it at 6% as recently as July 2026.
Uber also sells Webshop, ordering on your own website, at 25% when Uber delivers and 6% when you deliver or for pickup.
Menulog stopped taking orders in Australia on 26 November 2025, after agreeing to send its users to Uber Eats.
