Uber Eats charges restaurants in Canada 20% of the order on its Lite plan, 25% on Plus and 30% on Premium when its couriers deliver, and 10% on pickup. If you deliver yourself, it's 15%. Card processing is included, and GST/HST is added to the fee.

GST/HST on the commission
Yes. Uber's fees exclude tax, and it adds GST/HST at your province's rate (5% GST, or 13% to 15% HST), plus 7% PST in British Columbia. Uber issues invoices so registered restaurants can claim input tax credits.
Activation and subscription
Uber's Canadian terms provide for an activation fee and a weekly subscription fee, with the amounts set in each restaurant's order form.

Worth knowing
British Columbia. Since 1 January 2023, delivery platforms serving 500 or more restaurants must offer a base tier capped at 20% of the food and drink price, before tax and tips. A higher tier is allowed only if the restaurant turns the base tier down, and it can cancel on 7 days' notice.
Uber's March 2026 fee increase was US-only: its Canadian pricing page shows the same rates as in August 2025.
Pickup is 10% when your pickup prices match your in-store prices; otherwise Lite pickup is 15%.
Ontario's 2020 cap (15% on delivery, 20% in total) applies only while COVID-19 orders bar indoor dining, and Quebec's cap ended in June 2022.
Uber's Webshop, ordering on your own website, charges no commission, just a 2.9% processing fee.
