How do I stop selling on Zomato, and how much notice do I need?
Updated 1 October 2026
Give Zomato 7 days' written notice. The contract has no end date, and either side can end it at any time, with or without a reason. Return any Zomato tablet or device; pending dues still have to be settled.
- Zomato Gold: leaving Gold takes its own 7 days' written notice. Your own Promotions can be switched off any time.
- Tablet: it stays Zomato's property; a lost or damaged one costs ₹16,000, accessories ₹500.
- Customers: details from Zomato orders may be used only to fulfil those orders, so avoid using them to announce your move.
- Zomato can end it too: for example for breach, fraud, or not delivering orders for 14 days in a row.
- Next channel: set up direct ordering before your notice ends. See alternatives to Zomato.
Keep taking orders after you leave Zomato
Menuthere turns a photo of your menu into your own ordering website and QR code, at 0% commission, with orders ringing on the partner app. Have it live before your notice ends.
