Do guests have to download an app to order from a table QR code?

Usually no. Table QR ordering opens in the phone's browser. The guest scans, orders and, where offered, pays. Both the guest's phone and the restaurant's system need internet.

• qlub (Dubai): guests scan, order, split the bill, tip and pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay with no app.
