Public reports put foodpanda's cut at 25% to 30% of each order. Menuthere gives your restaurant its own ordering website and table QR codes in pesos, with 0% commission and a free plan to start.
Free plan: 50 orders a month, 0% commission on every plan.

The short answer
An online ordering system lets customers order from your own website or a table QR code, and sends each order to your dashboard and phone. In the Philippines the choice is between an app such as foodpanda or GrabFood, which charges a percentage and delivers for you, and your own ordering link, which charges a software fee plus whatever your payment provider charges.
What the apps take
Neither app publishes its Philippine rate. The figures below are public reports, so treat them as approximate and check your own agreement.
| Item | foodpanda | GrabFood |
|---|---|---|
| Published rate | Not published. Its partner page says several commission packages exist and shows yours at sign-up | Not published. Its merchant page says commission is at the rate in your agreement with Grab |
| What guides report | About 25% to 30% of each order (Suki Neighbors, 10 July 2026; Slant, 29 July 2023). klikit (2026, no source cited) gives 20% to 32% by plan | The guides disagree: 10% to 25% (Slant, 2023) and 22% to 33% by plan (klikit, 2026, no source cited). No official number |
| Other fees reported | About ₱1,000 a month once sales pass about ₱4,000 a month (Suki Neighbors, not published by foodpanda) | Not published |
| On a ₱400 order | At 25% the app keeps ₱100, at 28% ₱112 and at 30% ₱120 | No figure, because no rate is published |
| On 300 orders of ₱400 a month | At 28% that is ₱33,600 a month in commission, before any monthly fee | No figure |
| Sign-up | BIR 2303 form, a dine-in menu and bank proof. Approval takes 2 to 5 working days. Open at least 4 hours a day, 5 days a week | Sign up in the GrabMerchant app. The page says the offer is open to new single-store merchants |
The peso examples are arithmetic on a ₱400 order and 300 orders a month, not a forecast for your restaurant. A direct order on Menuthere carries 0% commission. Cash costs nothing, and a payment link costs whatever its provider charges. Apps still bring new customers and deliver with their own riders, so many owners keep them and move their regulars to their own link. Uber agreed on 16 July 2026 to buy Delivery Hero, foodpanda's parent, including foodpanda Philippines. The close is expected in the second half of 2027, subject to approvals, and foodpanda continues until then. Terms could change. See the full page on foodpanda commission in the Philippines, or the foodpanda alternative and GrabFood alternative pages.
How customers pay
Stripe does not open accounts in the Philippines. Menuthere's online card payment runs on the restaurant's own Stripe account, so it is not available to Philippine restaurants. We do not give a date for it.
What works today, on every plan: cash on delivery, pay at pick-up or at the table, your own payment link, or your own bank details that the customer sees. Orders still arrive in your dashboard and partner app.
Many Philippine customers expect to pay by QR or e-wallet. The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas reported that digital payments were 64.7% of retail payments in 2025, up from 57.4% in 2024. QR Ph handled 2.47 billion transactions worth ₱1.16 trillion and, for the first time, more transactions than debit and credit cards. Menuthere has no built-in GCash, Maya or QR Ph checkout.
If paying inside checkout by e-wallet matters most to you, the ranked list of ordering systems in the Philippines includes systems that advertise it. We cannot vouch for their gateways.
A payment link or bank details means you confirm the payment yourself before you hand over the order. Set your own rule, for example payment first for delivery orders above a value you choose.
What you get
600+ restaurants run their own ordering website on Menuthere. Plan prices are in US dollars.
Delivery, pick-up and dine-in table QR orders. Sizes, variants and add-ons are on every plan, which suits milk tea sizes and meal add-ons. Import your menu from a photo, PDF, Instagram or Google link. Set ₱ as your currency.
A dashboard and a partner app for Android and iPhone that rings until an order is accepted. Auto-accept, unlimited staff logins and a live order-status page for the customer.
50 orders a month, unlimited menu items and photos, QR codes, 30 days of order history and basic analytics. A small "Ordering by Menuthere" badge shows. Past 50 orders the menu turns view-only until the 1st or until you upgrade.
Unlimited orders, badge removed, your own domain, every theme and brand colour, a multi-language menu, scheduled orders and pre-orders, delivery areas drawn on a map with fees by distance, coupons and offers, and chat support.
Everything in Lite plus WhatsApp on your own number, loyalty points, your own riders app with live tracking, a missed-order WhatsApp alert and several outlets from one account (extra outlets US$39 a month each). Meta bills its WhatsApp fee to you. Menuthere takes no cut.
Pick-up orders show in the partner app. For delivery you use your own riders. Table QR codes open the menu in the phone's browser, so diners need no app. A setting can check the diner is at the restaurant, and a second order from the same table joins the open bill. Kitchen tickets and bills print from the dashboard. See table ordering and delivery management.
What it does not do
These are the limits, so you can decide before you start.
How the options charge
This table is not a ranking. The ranked list of ordering systems in the Philippines does the ranking.

| foodpanda | About 25% to 30% of each order, reported and approximate. About ₱1,000 a month past about ₱4,000 of monthly sales, reported | Inside the app | No |

Figures are from each company's own pages and our systems dataset, read between 25 September and 1 October 2026. Plans and prices change, so check each site. Menuthere prices are in US dollars. The other rows are in pesos as published.
The next step
If you sell through the apps today, keep them for new customers and start a direct channel for the people who already know you.
Search your business on Google above and Menuthere starts your store from the listing. Then import your menu from a photo, PDF, Instagram or Google link.
Choose ₱ as the currency and Asia/Manila as the timezone. Add your tax rate and number if you are registered.
Pick cash, pay at pick-up, your payment link or your bank details. Place a test order in pesos to see what your customer sees.
Put the QR code on tables and at the counter. Share the link on your Facebook page, Instagram bio and Google profile. Menuthere does not take orders inside Messenger or Viber.
Point your regulars to your own link and keep the apps for new customers. The commission-free ordering page explains the method.
