99Food doesn't publish its commission in Brazil. It told the press that new restaurants pay no commission and no monthly fee for up to 12 months, with a 3.2% fee on orders paid in the app. After that, 2026 reports put the commission at 8.9% when 99's couriers deliver, plus a delivery cost by distance.

The rates
Your own agreement with 99Food sets your rate. These are the ranges restaurants in Brazil report paying.

When 99's couriers deliver, you pay part of the delivery cost, charged by distance; 99 shows the amounts when you sign. You also cover part of the delivery fee on a new customer's first orders.

99's sign-up page advertises no monthly fee, but its charges guide lists one under its terms. Check your contract.

Figures are estimates from the numbers you enter. 99Food agreements differ by plan, location and volume, and platforms change their fees, so your 99Food payout statement is the source of truth. Worth knowing
99Food, owned by China's DiDi, operated in Brazil from 2019 to 2023 and returned in 2025. It first promised 24 months without commission; by August 2025 it was offering 12.
In August 2025 some restaurants complained that the 'zero fee' offer still left them paying delivery costs and discounts. 99 said every charge is set out in the contract.
99's sign-up page also offers a Plano Fixo, with no commission if your app prices match your in-store prices, and a Flex plan whose rate it doesn't show.
