GrabFood's standard GP (its commission) in Thailand is 30% of the order, plus 7% VAT on the fee, going by Grab's own worked example; rates can differ by store and contract. New stores that sign up in 2026 pay 0% for their first 30 days.

The rates
Your own agreement with GrabFood sets most of your rates. Here is what it does publish in Thailand.

VAT on the commission
Yes. Grab's example adds 7% VAT to the GP (฿300 on ฿1,000 of sales, plus ฿21 VAT), and its 2026 scheme terms say the fee excludes 7% VAT, which the store pays. A VAT-registered restaurant can usually claim it back.
Grab Chuay Lot campaign
New stores can join this discount campaign free for 30 days. Stay in after that and you pay 50% of the discounts customers get through it, plus VAT.

Worth knowing
Grab raised some new stores' commission from 30% to 35% in early 2020 and cut it back to 30% on 1 April 2020, according to MGR Online.
GrabFood and LINE MAN together held close to 90% of Thailand's food delivery market by value in 2025, MGR Online reported. foodpanda left Thailand on 23 May 2025.
