Yes. Messages use the Signal protocol on their way, and Cloud API messages are encrypted at rest.
- On the way: the Cloud API encrypts outgoing messages and decrypts incoming ones with the Signal protocol.
- At rest: Cloud API messages are stored encrypted.
- The Cloud API works on behalf of the business, so it reads incoming messages to pass them to your ordering system.
- Meta manages the keys for the business.
