What is a WhatsApp Business Solution Provider?
Updated 30 September 2026
A Business Solution Provider (BSP) is a company that connects your restaurant to the WhatsApp Business API, so you don't need a developer. You use its software to run your inbox, bot and messages.
- Developers can use the API directly. Everyone else usually goes through a provider, for example to link an inbox, support tool or bot.
- Businesses working with a provider sign up through Meta's embedded signup flow.
- Meta charges a fee per message. Providers set their own fees on top, and Meta's pricing page doesn't list them.
- To keep your Business app number working in the app, the provider must support “coexistence”.
- Avoid tools that send bulk or automated messages through the normal app. WhatsApp says unauthorized services doing that break its terms.
WhatsApp API and ordering in one account
Menuthere puts the WhatsApp Business API on your own number and adds the ordering website, order dashboard and partner app in the same account, so your WhatsApp messages and your orders sit together.
