Can I ask customers for their delivery address inside WhatsApp?

Yes. On the WhatsApp API, an address message asks for a delivery address and a location request message shows a Send location button.
- Both message types can be sent inside the 24-hour customer service window.
- On the free Business app you ask in chat and the customer types the address.
- A customer can also just type the address in a normal reply.
- Check the address and the distance before you confirm the order.
Get the delivery address right first time
Customers add their address at checkout on your Menuthere page. Delivery zones and fees are worked out for you, so you do not chase addresses in chat.
