How do I make a WhatsApp link for my restaurant?

Type wa.me/ followed by your full phone number in international format. The WhatsApp Business app also creates a short link for you automatically.

• Format: https://wa.me/ then the number in international format, with no zeroes, brackets or dashes.
• To pre-fill a message, add ?text= and your message in URL-encoded form after the number.
• In the WhatsApp Business app, your short link is made when you create the account. Look for Short link in the Tools menu.
• Use it in your Instagram bio, on receipts and on menus. Your Google listing can show a WhatsApp button too.
