How do I make a WhatsApp link that fills in “I want to order”?

Add ?text= and your message to your WhatsApp link, for example https://wa.me/<number>?text=I%20want%20to%20order. When a customer taps it, the chat opens with that message already typed.

• Write your number in full international format and leave out any zeroes, brackets or dashes.
• Replace each space in the message with %20. The text must be URL-encoded, so test the link on your phone before sharing it.
• The customer can edit the message before sending it, and has to tap Send.
• The WhatsApp Business app also has a short link and QR code with a default message. Set it under Tools, then Short link.
• Use the link on your website, in your Instagram bio and as the chat link on your Google Business Profile.
