How much does the WhatsApp Business API cost a restaurant?

Meta charges for each message you send, by type and by the customer's country. In India an order update costs ₹0.115 and an offer ₹0.8631.
- Messages customers send you are free.
- Order updates and replies are cheap “utility” messages; offers are pricier “marketing” messages.
- From 1 October 2026, each number gets 1,000 free reply messages a month; after that, replies are charged too.
- Chats that start from a click-to-WhatsApp ad are free for up to 7 days.
- Your provider adds its own fee on top of Meta's.
Pay Meta directly, with no cut to Menuthere
