What happens to WhatsApp orders if my ordering system goes offline?

Meta retries for up to 7 days. If your system answers with anything but success, or cannot be reached, Meta resends with decreasing frequency until it gets through.

• A short outage does not lose the customer's message.
• The order can still arrive late, and the customer is left waiting.
• A hosted system that is always on avoids the gap.
• Check that someone sees new orders quickly, for example on a phone alert.
