The short answer
An online ordering system lets customers order and pay from your own website or table QR code. Each order reaches your dashboard and your phone. In Singapore the choice is between an app such as GrabFood or foodpanda, which takes a percentage of every order, and your own system, which charges a software fee and a card fee.
It works as a restaurant ordering system in Singapore for a café, bakery, bubble tea shop, cloud kitchen or home-based business. The menu opens in the customer's phone browser, so nobody downloads an app.
What you pay today
Deliveroo stopped operating in Singapore after 4 March 2026, which leaves GrabFood and foodpanda as the two big apps. Singapore does not cap delivery commission. In April 2026 the Ministry of Trade and Industry said the competition authority had seen no systematic shift in commissions or fees since Deliveroo left. Uber agreed in July 2026 to buy Delivery Hero, foodpanda's parent, and the deal is expected to close in the second half of 2027. Full fee lists: GrabFood commission in Singapore and foodpanda commission in Singapore.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Menuthere | 0% commission and no per-order fee. Free (50 orders a month), Lite US$9 a month, Pro US$39 a month. | Your own Stripe account. Oddle says the usage fee covers food processing. | 1-year commitment when billed monthly. | Oddle pricing, fees, read 26 September 2026. Oddle alternative. |
| TabSquare | Starting Out S$0 per location. Growing Hot S$49 and Scaling Up S$149 a month. | 2.5% + S$0.25 per domestic transaction on the free plan, 2.3% + S$0.25 on Growing Hot. | Monthly, cancel any time. GrabFood as published on 1 October 2026. foodpanda as reported in September 2026 (approximate). Competitor figures as published on each vendor's site on 26 September 2026 and 1 October 2026. Qashier, Dinlr and Atlas are POS products that include ordering, so the rows are not like for like. Rates change, so check your own agreement and each vendor's page. A ranked list is on best online ordering systems in Singapore.
What a direct order costs
Your own Stripe account charges the card fee and Menuthere adds nothing. Stripe's standard Singapore rates, read on 1 October 2026: 3.4% + S$0.50 on a domestic card, 0.5% more on an international card, 2% more if currency conversion is needed, 1.3% on PayNow and 3.3% on GrabPay. Apple Pay and Google Pay are priced as cards. The page lists no setup or monthly fee, and a dispute costs S$15. The fixed S$0.50 weighs more on a small basket, so a kopi or bubble tea shop pays least when customers use PayNow or pay at pickup.
| How the order is taken | S$20 order | S$30 order | S$40 order | 300 orders of S$30 a month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GrabFood, 30% | S$6.00 | S$9.00 | S$12.00 | S$2,700 |
| foodpanda, about 25% to 35% | S$5.00 to S$7.00 | S$7.50 to S$10.50 | S$10.00 to S$14.00 | S$2,250 to S$3,150 |
| Own site, domestic card on Stripe (3.4% + S$0.50) | S$1.18 | S$1.52 | S$1.86 | S$456 |
| Own site, PayNow on Stripe (1.3%) | S$0.26 | S$0.39 | S$0.52 | S$117 |
Illustrative arithmetic on the published rates, before GST. GrabFood adds 9% GST on its fee, which is S$0.81 on a S$30 order. Whether GST applies to Stripe's own fee depends on your business status, so we do not work it out. Menuthere's plan price is extra, and 300 orders a month needs Lite (US$9). Payouts: Stripe's payout table lists 7 calendar days as the initial payout timing in Singapore, read 1 October 2026. Stripe says PayNow funds reach your Stripe balance the next day. Later payouts follow your Stripe schedule. Card payments on Menuthere start on Lite. On Free, customers pay cash, at pickup, or with a payment link or bank details you give.
What you get with Menuthere
0% commission and no per-order fee on every plan. Month to month, no contract. The payment gateway's fee goes to the gateway, not to Menuthere.

Singapore rules
This is a summary of official pages, not legal or tax advice. Check the source for your own case.
GST and prices. GST is 9% since 1 January 2024. IRAS says GST-registered businesses must show GST-inclusive prices on price tags, advertisements and websites. A food outlet that adds a service charge may show prices before GST if it states prominently that prices are subject to GST and service charge. That option does not cover a nominal service charge used only to avoid showing inclusive prices. GST is charged on the food price and on the service charge.
Nutri-Grade on online menus. Since 30 December 2023, freshly prepared drinks graded C or D must show the Nutri-Grade mark next to the drink on physical or online menus. Toppings such as pearls, jellies, ice cream and whipped cream must state their sugar content. Advertising freshly prepared D drinks is banned. For now, a business with revenue of S$1 million or less in its latest financial year and fewer than 10 food premises is exempt for freshly prepared drinks. A first offence can be fined up to S$1,000. Bubble tea shops and cafés should read the Health Promotion Board page.
The grant change. The Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG), EDG and MRA stopped on 29 September 2026. From 30 September 2026, Enterprise Singapore points to the EDGE Grant for business grant support. We have not read the EDGE terms on an official page, so check Enterprise Singapore's grant recommender before you rely on any percentage. Menuthere is not described as pre-approved for any grant. The free plan costs S$0 and Lite is US$9 a month, so there is little to fund.
The honest limits
Menuthere does not connect to Eats365, Qashier, Dinlr, Atlas, StoreHub, klikit or other Singapore POS systems. The only POS it connects to is Petpooja, an India product. It has its own basic POS as an add-on for counter billing. If you want online orders to print through your existing POS, use that POS vendor's ordering. The best online ordering systems in Singapore page lists them.
Menuthere does not integrate with GrabFood, foodpanda or any other delivery app. Their orders stay on their own tablet or app. Menuthere orders come to the Menuthere dashboard. You can run both.
Pro has a riders app with live tracking, and Lite draws delivery areas on a map with fees by distance. Menuthere does not book Lalamove or GrabExpress couriers for you. Book those outside Menuthere.
You connect your own Stripe account, and Stripe opens accounts in Singapore. PayNow is a setting on the Stripe side (see the PayNow question below). We have not verified other Singapore payment methods at Menuthere checkout, so we do not list them.
The customer menu opens in the phone's browser. A branded customer app is Enterprise only. The Free plan stops at 50 orders a month.
Independent venues and small groups that want 0% commission and a cheap start, including home-based kitchens and cloud kitchens. It does not fit a venue that needs tight POS sync, kitchen display screens or a hardware bundle. For those, look at POS-led systems.
How to start
Keep the apps for discovery if you like. Send the customers you already have to your own link.
Search your business on Google on this page. Menuthere builds the menu from your listing, or you can use a photo or a PDF.
Choose S$ as the currency and Asia/Singapore as the timezone. If you are GST-registered, add your GST number and rate, and tick "Tax Inclusive" on items whose shelf price already includes GST.
Connect your Stripe account on Lite, or use cash and pay at pickup on Free. Place a real S$1 test order. If you switch PayNow on in Stripe, test that too.
Put the table QR codes on tables and one at the counter. Add the link to your Instagram bio and your Google profile.
Grab's merchant code of conduct prohibits soliciting consumers to order outside the app (read 30 September 2026), so do not put flyers in Grab orders or message Grab customers. Use your shop sign, table QR and social profiles. For the method, see commission-free online ordering and what commission-free ordering means.
