Can customers call my restaurant on WhatsApp?

Yes, but only on the WhatsApp Business API (Cloud API). The free Business app does not have these calling features.
- Number: it must be on the Cloud API, not the Business app, and calling must be switched on for it.
- Limit: the business needs a daily messaging limit of at least 2,000 unique recipients.
- Customers can call your business. With the API, your business can also call customers.
- For food orders a call is slow. Point customers to the chat and the menu link instead.
Let customers order without a phone call
Customers send Hi on your own WhatsApp number, get an Order Now button and order from the menu. Each order arrives in your dashboard, and the partner app rings until it is accepted.
