Can customers order on WhatsApp without saving my number?

Yes. A customer can start a chat from your WhatsApp link, QR code or Google listing button without saving your number. Only broadcast lists need your number saved.
- Link: wa.me/ plus your full number in international format, leaving out leading zeros, brackets and dashes. Add ?text= to pre-fill a message.
- QR code: the Business app makes one for you. It doesn't expire unless you reset it or delete your account.
- Google: add your phone number to your Google Business Profile and a WhatsApp click to chat button shows in Search and Maps.
- Broadcast lists: only people who saved your number get them. A business broadcast, where available, can reach the rest.
Let customers order with one scan or tap
Customers scan your QR code or tap your link and land on your Menuthere ordering page, with no number to save. On WhatsApp they send “Hi” and get an Order Now button that opens your menu.
