How do I split my WhatsApp customers into lists?

In the WhatsApp Business app, tag customers with labels (up to 20) and message a group with broadcast lists (up to 256 contacts each, as many lists as you like).

• Labels: you can create up to 20, for example “regulars” or “office lunch”. WhatsApp is rolling labels out under a new name, “lists”.
• A broadcast list holds up to 256 contacts. Each person gets your message alone, and their reply comes back as a private chat.
• Only people who saved your number receive a broadcast list message, so ask new customers to save it.
• Split by what people agreed to. Meta advises getting opt-in for each kind of message and offering a clear way to stop.
• If you connect the app to the API with coexistence, you can't create new broadcast lists and existing ones become read-only.
