How do I take pre-orders and party orders on WhatsApp?
Updated 30 September 2026
Ask for the date, time, number of people, items and delivery details in one message, confirm everything in writing, and take a deposit before you start.
- Save the questions as a quick reply (you can keep up to 50), so every party enquiry gets the same checklist.
- Say how much notice big orders need, and put it in your greeting message so first-time customers see it.
- Label confirmed orders, for example “Party confirmed”, so upcoming orders are easy to find. You can create up to 20 labels.
- Send a final message with items, total, date, time, address and what has been paid. It gives you both a record.
- For large orders, state the deposit amount in the chat before you accept the booking.
Take pre-orders without the chat back-and-forth
Customers pick their items and a date and time on your Menuthere page, and each pre-order lands in your dashboard and partner app. You don't retype the same checklist in every chat.
