The 10 best online ordering systems for restaurants in Denmark.
Restaurants in Denmark take orders on their own websites, apps and tables through local and regional systems such as HeapsGo, OrderYOYO and OnlinePOS. Of the 9 systems compared here besides Menuthere, 3 say they take no commission on orders and 1 has a free plan; the rest charge a monthly fee or quote per restaurant.
Menuthere publishes this list and makes one of the systems on it (number 4). Every figure comes from the companies' own pages, dated and listed on each system's page. How we ranked them is at the foot of the page.

12-month minimum term; after that the restaurant gives notice that takes effect 3 months from the end of the month (OrderYOYO can end it on 1 month's notice). Unless agreed otherwise, the order printer is lent for a 3-month run-in, then the restaurant must buy it (UK and Ireland terms).
Software subscription runs at least 6 months from installation, then 3 months' written notice to the end of a month (earliest exit at the end of month 9). Rented hardware is bound for at least 36 months (earliest exit at the end of month 39). Billed monthly in advance by direct debit; prices can be adjusted with 3 months' notice (Danish and Norwegian terms, March 2023).
Month to month; 7-day free trial on Lite and Pro
Minimum 12 months; after that, 3 months' notice plus the current month. Billed in advance monthly or yearly (10% off yearly); prepaid periods are not refunded.
No fixed term published: under Wolt's Finnish General Terms, after any trial period either side can end the agreement or a product addendum with 30 days' written notice (15.2), and Wolt can change commissions and fees with at least 15 days' notice (16.1).
No binding period on Basic (FAQ). The Standalone trial offer says "Cancel anytime" and needs no credit card; terms for Standalone after the trial and for Advanced are not published.
Denmark: "No binding period" on Basic, Plus and Advanced, and yearly billing saves DKK 600. Norway: no lock-in when you pay quarterly; the page states no lock-in rule for yearly billing.
12 months. The agreement renews automatically for 12 months unless it is cancelled at least 3 months before renewal. Fees are invoiced monthly in arrears, paid by Danish direct debit (Leverandørservice), non-refundable and due whether or not the system is used. Subscription fees are adjusted every 1 January to the Danish net price index.
The pricing page says '0 months' contract and 'no contract lock-in'. The terms say the subscription is billed monthly in advance and needs 3 months' written notice to cancel, paid in full with no refunds. A binding period in an individual agreement applies first.

Where Menuthere fits in Denmark
Your own ordering page, without paying commission.
0% commission on every plan: your customers' orders are yours in full.
Free to start, with 50 orders a month. Lite is $9 a month for unlimited orders and your own domain.
Your own ordering website, QR menus and table ordering, with a partner app that rings until you accept each order.
Pro adds WhatsApp order updates on your own number, loyalty points and your own delivery riders.
Online card payments aren't available in Denmark yet: customers pay cash, on delivery or at pickup, and card payments are planned.
Danish and Nordic restaurant brands and chains that want their own branded app, webshop and kiosk with loyalty, built for them
HeapsGo, from Copenhagen-based Heaps App ApS, builds a restaurant's own branded ordering webshop, iOS and Android app and self-order kiosk, with a staff tablet that also takes in Wolt, Foodora and Just Eat orders, plus loyalty and marketing tools. The customers it showcases are Danish (Madklubben, OLIOLI, GRØD, Jagger), and brand apps built on it also run in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Iceland and Greenland. It publishes no prices: each platform is quoted after you contact its sales team.

Online payments
The site lists Adyen, MobilePay, Vipps, Apple Pay and Google Pay for online payments, and Nets physical terminals for in-store payments. Madklubben's 2023 terms for its HeapsGo platform say PCI-certified third-party providers process card payments: the amount is reserved when the order is placed and charged when the order is completed. Fees are not published.
Includes: Own ordering website · QR table ordering · Pickup · Delivery orders · Your own drivers · Scheduled orders · Online payments · Loyalty · Marketing tools · Branded app · Delivery-app integration · Multiple locations
Each restaurant gets its own branded webshop, native iOS and Android app and self-order kiosk. The apps are published under the brand's own name: OLIOLI, GRØD and Madklubben+ are App Store apps from those companies that link to their HeapsGo sites.
Orders from Wolt, Foodora and Just Eat arrive on the same order tablet as app, webshop and kiosk orders, with menus kept in sync across channels. Wolt Drive, FoodoraGo and Just Eat can also deliver the restaurant's own orders, and HeapsGo can pick the fastest or cheapest courier automatically.
Loyalty is built in and works across the POS, app, webshop and kiosk. It includes points, challenges and rewards, vouchers, gift cards and member cards, plus email, push and in-app messages sent by hand or automatically to all users or segments.
No published prices, plans or commission terms. There is no self-serve sign-up or free trial: restaurants contact sales through a form, email or a +45 phone number.
The site's POS section is about linking to other POS systems ("Integrate to any POS system", "Choose among our preferred POS providers"). It does not describe a POS of HeapsGo's own.
Most features the site lists, such as QR ordering, CRM, gift cards, in-house delivery, kitchen displays and catering, get only a one-line tagline. The site does not describe how they work.
UK, Irish and Danish takeaways that want a done-for-you branded website, app, POS and marketing, paid by commission rather than a monthly fee
OrderYOYO is a Copenhagen company that builds branded ordering websites and iOS/Android apps for takeaways, and adds its own YOYO POS, self-service kiosks, YOYOPay card payments and done-for-you marketing. It sells to independent takeaways and quick-service restaurants in the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Germany and Austria (in Germany also under the order smart brand); Pollen Street Capital bought it in 2025, and it has since bought the Dutch firms Foodticket (2025) and Cashdesk (2026). It publishes no price list: restaurants pay an agreed set-up fee and a weekly commission of about 6% to 11% of website and app turnover (UK and Ireland notices), and customers pay a service fee on each order.
Price

Commission
6% to 11% of weekly website and app turnover, falling as turnover rises (5% to 10% on orders placed through Google; UK and Ireland notices, April 2025). It is charged on cash and card orders, on orders the restaurant rejects, and on the customer handling and delivery fees.
Online payments
Online card payments on the website and app are processed through OrderYOYO's own payment platform, and the restaurant is paid weekly; customers can also pay cash, which drivers mark as paid in YOYO POS. In store and at the door, YOYOPay takes contactless payments with Tap to Pay on iPhone, the YOYOPay app or a card machine OrderYOYO can supply (0.99% per transaction), and YOYO POS can also connect a Zettle card reader.
One supplier for the branded website, iOS and Android app, YOYO POS (handheld Lite or desktop Pro), self-service kiosk and YOYOPay card payments, all feeding one order system (OrderYOYO product pages).
Commission falls as weekly website and app turnover rises (to 7% in the UK and 6% in Ireland at the top level), and orders placed through Google pay 1 point less (OrderYOYO fee notices, April 2025).
Done-for-you setup and marketing: custom design, a local business development manager, Google Ads, SMS, email and a points-based loyalty scheme; support every day from 11am to 11pm by WhatsApp, chat, email and phone (OrderYOYO website).
Not commission-free: 6% to 11% of website and app turnover, charged on cash as well as card orders and even on orders the restaurant rejects (fee notices and UK terms, clauses 5.4 and 5.11).
Tied in for at least 12 months, then 3 months' notice; an agreed set-up fee, and, unless agreed otherwise, the order printer must be bought after a 3-month loan (UK and Ireland terms, clauses 5.3, 9 and 14).
Customers pay a £/€0.75 service fee on every website and app order (OrderYOYO fee notice, April 2025).
Danish and Norwegian restaurants and bars that want a full POS plus a commission-free take-away page and QR table ordering from one supplier
OnlinePOS is a cloud POS for restaurants, cafés, bars and nightclubs, made by OnlinePOS A/S in Randers, Denmark, since 2008 and also sold in Norway through OnlinePOS AS. Its take-away module gives a restaurant its own ordering page, linked from its website, for pickup or delivery at a time the customer picks, with orders going straight into the POS; a QR module lets guests order and pay at the table. It is sold after a demo on monthly subscriptions with 0% commission: the take-away module is a fixed 495 kr. a month in Denmark (NOK 399 in Norway) on top of the POS, whose Danish Essentials Bundle starts from 399 kr. a month.

In QR table ordering the guest pays in the ordering flow when ordering; the product page does not name the gateway, and the take-away page does not say how customers pay. OnlinePOS lists integrations with Nets, Quickpay, MobilePay (including MobilePay Point of Sale) and MultiPay, sells integrated and mobile card terminals (Lane/3600, Move/3500, P630, T650P, Sunmi V3), and bundles Softpay in the Danish Essentials Bundle.
Commission-free take-away page: 0% commission for a fixed 495 kr. a month in Denmark or NOK 399 a month in Norway; orders land on the POS terminal and print automatically (OnlinePOS take-away pages, Norwegian price list).
Capacity control lets staff turn the number of take-away orders accepted up or down when the restaurant is busy (OnlinePOS take-away page).
One supplier for POS, handheld terminals, QR ordering with payment at the table, kiosks, kitchen screens and an HQ module for several sites (NOK 199 a month in Norway), plus 50+ integrations including Wolt, Just Eat, Hungry, Deliverect, Planday, Visma e-conomic and table-booking systems (OnlinePOS product and integration pages).
No self-serve sign-up or public POS prices: pages lead to a demo booking, OnlinePOS helps set up the take-away page and link it to the restaurant's website, the Danish price page is password-protected, and the Norwegian price list shows no price for the Essentials, Plus and Advanced plans.
The take-away page is an add-on to the OnlinePOS POS (listed under Add-ons on the Norwegian site, with orders going into the POS terminal), not a standalone ordering website.
Tie-in: the Danish homepage promises no long lock-ins, but the terms bind the software subscription for at least 6 months plus 3 months' notice and rented hardware for 36 months, and let prices rise for inflation or cost increases with 3 months' notice (terms, sections 2.3 and 9.1).

Danish takeaway restaurants and pizzerias that want their own ordering page, own-driver or Wolt Drive delivery and a till for a fixed monthly fee
NemTakeAway is a Danish takeaway ordering system from We Serve You ApS in Åbyhøj near Aarhus: each restaurant gets its own branded ordering page, and the Medium plan adds a simple website, own-driver or Wolt Drive delivery, QR self-service and the NemPOS till. It is sold to takeaway restaurants and pizzerias across Denmark. Customers pay by card, Dankort, MobilePay or ViaBill (depending on the provider) through the restaurant's own online payment agreement with Worldline Checkout, Nets Easy, Vibrant, Stripe, Quickpay, ePay or Frisbii (formerly Reepay). The money goes straight to the restaurant's account; NemTakeAway never handles it.

0% commission: the restaurant pays a fixed monthly subscription whatever it sells, and online card payments go straight to its own account (English FAQ, pricing page).
Medium (DKK 695 a month, DKK 625 billed yearly) bundles an own website, own-driver delivery with a driver view, automatic order printing, QR self-service and the NemPOS Standard till (pricing page).
Restaurants without drivers can use the Wolt Drive integration: a fixed, distance-based price per delivery instead of commission, without selling on the Wolt app (delivery module page).
Minimum 12-month agreement, then 3 months' notice plus the current month; prepaid periods are not refunded (English FAQ, general terms).
Standard (DKK 395 a month) has no printer support and no delivery; delivery, the own website and QR ordering need Medium at DKK 695 (pricing page).
Setup costs from DKK 399 or DKK 699 and each SMS DKK 0.50; loyalty (DKK 199 a month) and multi-shop head office (DKK 499+ a month) are paid add-ons; all prices exclude VAT (pricing page, general terms).
Restaurants already selling on Wolt in its European markets that want direct orders from their own website, social media and Google profile without new hardware, and accept a per-order commission
Wolt Storefront is a restaurant-branded online ordering page, built and run by the Helsinki-based delivery company Wolt, that a restaurant links from its website, social media, Google profile and in-store QR codes. It is an optional add-on to a Wolt merchant agreement, sold only in Wolt's own markets, and its orders arrive on the same Wolt tablet or POS integration as Wolt app orders. There is no published subscription: Wolt charges a commission and fees on each Storefront order, at rates set in each merchant's agreement or sign-up sheet.

Online payments
Wolt processes all Storefront payments: the Storefront page lists credit and debit cards, Google Pay and Apple Pay. Wolt (or Wolt License Services Oy, a licensed payment institution) collects the money on the merchant's behalf and pays out weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or every six days, less commissions and fees.
Includes: Own ordering website · QR table ordering · Pickup · Delivery orders · Your own drivers · Online payments · Marketing tools · Multiple locations
Restaurants already on Wolt use the same Wolt tablet or POS integration and can reuse their Wolt Marketplace menu, so there is no new hardware or staff training (Wolt Storefront page).
Wolt handles payments, customer support, refunds and technical issues for Storefront orders (Wolt Storefront page FAQ).
One page covers delivery by Wolt couriers, the restaurant's own fleet (Wolt Self-Delivery) or both, plus pickup and in-store "Skip the Line" QR ordering for counter pickup or table service (Wolt Storefront page).
Not commission-free, and the rates are not published: Wolt charges a percentage commission plus VAT, and possibly a Platform Fee, on every Storefront order, set in each merchant's sign-up sheet (Storefront and Marketplace Product Addenda).
The ordering page is created, operated and owned by Wolt, by default sits on Wolt's order.site address rather than the restaurant's own domain, and Wolt is an independent controller of the customer data collected on it (Storefront Product Addendum; Wolt Learning Center).
Only sold in Wolt's markets, through a sign-up form and a Wolt contact rather than self-serve, and it runs as an addendum to a Wolt merchant agreement (Wolt Storefront page; Storefront Product Addendum).
Danish restaurants and takeaways that want a self-serve ordering website with a kitchen display, or ExtendaGO POS users in Denmark, Norway and Sweden who want online ordering tied to their till
Ordin is a Danish online ordering system from Ordin ApS for restaurants, cafés, bars and takeaways: a branded ordering website for pickup, delivery by the restaurant's own couriers and QR table ordering, with a kitchen display, cloud printing, loyalty tools and a branded app as an option on its top plan. It is also sold as the "ExtendaGO Ordin" add-on to the ExtendaGO POS. It charges per order: 4% + DKK 1.50 on the free Basic plan, or 2% + DKK 1.50 plus DKK 399 a month on Standalone, and the Advanced plan with ExtendaGO POS is priced on request.

4% + DKK 1.50 per order on Basic; 2% + DKK 1.50 per order on Standalone; Advanced by quote.
Online payments
Online payments go through Adyen or Stripe (Ordin guide; both are listed as payment subprocessors in Ordin's privacy policy). Ordin itself does not process or store payment information (terms of use). A store can also offer Pay Later, for example paying when the order is collected, and invoice payments for logged-in customers (Ordin guide). For Adyen, the restaurant's Adyen merchant ID is entered in the Ordin backoffice.
Includes: Own ordering website · QR table ordering · Pickup · Delivery orders · Your own drivers · Scheduled orders · Online payments · POS · Loyalty · Marketing tools · Branded app · Multiple locations
Self-serve sign-up with no setup fee, and the Basic plan has no monthly fee and no binding period (Ordin pricing page and FAQ).
Ordin's FAQ says the per-order fee covers payment processing, hosting, support and all software features (Ordin FAQ).
One system covers pickup, delivery by the restaurant's own couriers within a zone set by distance, travel time or a map area, QR table ordering, preorders with time-slot capacity limits, a kitchen display and Star cloud printing (Ordin feature pages and guides).
Every plan takes a cut of each order: 4% + DKK 1.50 on Basic and 2% + DKK 1.50 on Standalone, and Standalone costs DKK 399 a month after the first 3 months (Ordin pricing page).
QR table ordering, automatic printing and loyalty programmes are only on Standalone or higher, not on the free Basic plan; the branded app is only an option on the quote-only Advanced plan (Ordin pricing page).
Built for Denmark: prices are only in DKK, SMS fees are quoted for +45 numbers only, and age verification uses Danish NemID (pricing page, privacy policy).
Danish and Norwegian restaurants, cafés and takeaways that want online and QR table ordering inside the same POS as their tills
Shopbox is a Danish cloud POS from Shopbox ApS for shops, restaurants and cafés in Denmark and Norway. Its Weorder module, which Shopbox calls "part of Shopbox", adds an online ordering site, QR table ordering, takeaway, delivery and catering orders, loyalty and marketing, all tied to the POS. You pay a monthly subscription, and Weorder needs the Plus plan (DKK 697 a month billed yearly) or higher. On top of that, Shopbox takes 5% of each online order on Plus or 3% on Advanced in Denmark; in Norway the fee starts at 0.7% plus payment-provider fees per order.
Price
From kr 697/mo

Denmark: 5% per order on Plus and 3% per order on Advanced for the digital menu and ordering platform. Norway: from 0.7% plus PSP (payment provider) fees per order.
Online payments
Guests order and pay on their own devices (Weorder page), but Shopbox does not name the gateway behind Weorder's online payments. Shopbox Pay takes online payments, and the help centre groups it with Adyen terminals. The integrations page lists Adyen, Nets, MobilePay, Flatpay, Softpay, Verifone and Worldline as payment integrations; in Norway, Vipps is listed for POS payments. Norwegian pricing adds PSP fees on top of the Weorder order fee.
Online ordering, QR table ordering, takeaway, delivery and catering all run through the Shopbox POS. The Weorder menu comes from a Shopbox POS menu filter, and kitchen tickets can print automatically (Weorder page; help centre integration guides).
The Danish plans say "No binding period", and in Norway paying quarterly means no lock-in (Shopbox pricing pages).
Loyalty is built in: cashback points, digital gift cards, customer groups and SMS and email campaigns. Shopbox says the customer data belongs to the restaurant (Weorder page; help centre).
Online ordering is not in Basic. It needs Plus (DKK 697 a month billed yearly), and each online order costs 5% on Plus or 3% on Advanced in Denmark (Danish pricing page).
Card and payment-provider rates are not published. In Norway the Weorder fee is from 0.7% plus PSP fees per order, on top of Plus at NOK 1,097 or Advanced at NOK 1,497 a month billed yearly (Norwegian pricing page).
Table management and full takeaway order handling with delivery-app integrations come only with Advanced (DKK 947 a month billed yearly) (pricing page).
Restaurants and restaurant groups in Denmark and the Netherlands that want POS, bookings and online ordering from one supplier
Fresto is a restaurant suite from Copenhagen. It covers a cloud POS, online orders for pickup and self-delivery, QR table ordering (Open Tab), table bookings, gift cards, a kitchen display, inventory and loyalty. It is sold to restaurants, cafés, bars, take-aways and chains. Bookings alone are free, but the All-in-one package that includes online orders is priced on request, with a 12-month contract and a variable fee on revenue in its customer agreement.

Unclear. Fresto's FAQ says there is no commission on online orders and that the online service is included in the solution. Its customer agreement adds a variable fee on the total revenue run through Fresto, on top of the fixed subscription, and does not publish the rate.
Online payments
Online orders are paid through Viva Wallet (Viva.com) e-commerce. In the venue, the POS sends amounts straight to the card terminal, and the integrations page lists Viva.com, Nets, Softpay and ePay. Guests can also pay by wallet, cash, gift card or a custom payment method at the POS.
Includes: Own ordering website · QR table ordering · Pickup · Delivery orders · Your own drivers · Scheduled orders · Online payments · POS · Loyalty · Marketing tools · Multiple locations · Menu translation · Reservations
Fresto's FAQ says there is no commission on online orders and that the online service is included in the solution.
Online orders, QR table ordering (Open Tab, with quick re-order and a choice of paying when ordering or after the meal), a QR digital menu synced with the POS, bookings, gift cards, a kitchen display and inventory all run in one system.
Online ordering lets customers pick up now, later today or on another day, pay in advance, follow their order in real time and get an SMS when it is ready. Items can be limited by day and time, and the digital menu can be shown in several languages.
No published price for online ordering. Only Bookings is free; online orders come in the All-in-one package, which is 'Request price'.
12-month contract that renews automatically unless cancelled 3 months before renewal. Fees are non-refundable, due even if the system is not used, and adjusted to the Danish net price index every 1 January.
The customer agreement charges a variable fee on the total revenue run through Fresto, on top of the fixed subscription, but gives no rate. SMS messages cost 0.45 DKK each.
Restaurants in Denmark, Norway, Sweden or Italy that want POS, card payments, reservations and pick-up ordering from one supplier
Superb is a Danish all-in-one platform for restaurants, cafés and bars: an iPad POS with its own card terminal, table reservations, online gift cards, email marketing and online takeaway ordering from the restaurant's own website. The free Go plan covers only the POS and terminal, and online takeaway comes with the Plus plan, which is priced by quote. Superb takes no commission on takeaway orders, but it earns a transaction fee on every card payment, and its terms put a 5% fee on online payments.

Superb processes payments itself, both at its own card terminals and online. It says it takes "any payment method – online or in your restaurant" with next-day payout. Its integrations page lists Apple Pay, Google Pay, Vipps and GetYourBill as payment methods. The underlying acquirer is not named on the site or in the terms.
One platform covers the POS, card terminal, reservations, online gift cards, email marketing and online takeaway. Takeaway orders go straight to the POS and kitchen, and the restaurant adds a takeaway link to its own website with no integration needed.
Superb says it takes no commission on takeaway orders.
The Go plan costs €0 a month (0 kr in Denmark and Norway), with no terminal rent and a 0.99% IC++ fee that covers debit, credit and corporate cards. Plus lowers the fee to 0.75%.
Online takeaway is only in the Plus plan, and Plus has no published price. The pricing button opens a lead form. The free Go plan is POS and card terminal only.
The terms of service (last updated 01/09/2026) charge 5% on all online transactions and €199 excl. VAT per card terminal at contract signature, although the pricing page shows terminal rent as free. International and commercial cards cost 3% if surcharging to guests is switched off.
The pricing page says '0 months' contract, but the terms need 3 months' written notice to cancel, paid in full with no refunds. The terms also allow a price rise of up to 5% a year, a €59 monthly shortfall fee if card volume falls below the agreed level (all in-store revenue must go through Superb terminals), and a €399 charge for each terminal not returned within 10 days.
Whether restaurants in Denmark can sign up and use it today: a local site, local pricing, local customers or a sign-up open to any country.
What it costs a small restaurant: the monthly price, any commission or per-order fee, and contracts.
What it does for ordering: your own website, QR table ordering, delivery, pickup and payments.
Menuthere is on the list because it is a real option here, and we put it where its strengths — no commission and a free plan — fit; its limits (such as payments outside India) are stated in its entry.
