The 10 best online ordering systems for restaurants in the Netherlands.
Restaurants in the Netherlands take orders on their own websites, apps and tables through local and regional systems such as Lightspeed Restaurant, Foodticket and Sitedish. Of the 9 systems compared here besides Menuthere, 6 say they take no commission on orders and 3 have a free plan; the rest charge a monthly fee or quote per restaurant.
Menuthere publishes this list and makes one of the systems on it (number 4). Every figure comes from the companies' own pages, dated and listed on each system's page. How we ranked them is at the foot of the page.

Online ordering systems for restaurants in the Netherlands, compared
The website says restaurants pay no commission on orders from their own Foodticket ordering site and no commission per QR order. The restaurant terms (version 3.0, 17 November 2025) say the restaurant agrees to a weekly commission structure per location, invoiced from the revenue that passes through Foodticket; the rates are not published.

Depends on the pricing model. On the free volume-fee model Bistroo keeps 7% of each Website or Webshop order, 3.49% of each QR order and 1.49% of each POS or kiosk order, withheld from the transaction (pricing page, terms art. 7.5). On a subscription, no volume fee applies to Webshop, Website, QR or Kiosk orders (terms art. 7.4).
Contract
Not stated on the US or Australian pricing pages; the Norwegian price list says its price applies to a 12-month contract period
The website says OrderBuddy can be cancelled monthly and 'je zit nergens aan vast'. The restaurant terms (version 3.0, 17 November 2025) say that, unless agreed otherwise, the agreement has a 12-month initial minimum term, then 1 month's notice to the end of a calendar month; leaving early costs the average monthly commission times the months left, or 3,500 EUR, whichever is higher.
Subscription with one month's notice (FAQ: 'een opzegtermijn van één maand'). The terms let the restaurant cancel immediately, with the month's fee refunded, if the Sitedish application is unreachable for more than 48 hours.
Month to month; 7-day free trial on Lite and Pro
POS Plus: 30-day free trial, then billed monthly on a 12-month contract; cancel before the trial ends or once the 12 months end (SumUp help centre, UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Spain).
No contract. Under the terms (last updated 8 July 2026), the agreement runs for one month at a time and renews automatically each month. Either side can end it with written notice at least one day before the month ends. Tebi can raise its fees from the first day of any month by giving 10 days' written notice.
Terms of service (last modified 24 March 2026): the term set in the agreement, otherwise an initial 12 months, renewing automatically for further 12-month periods unless cancelled in writing at least 30 days before the end of the term. Butlaroo may change its rates with 30 days' written notice (pass-through payment cost changes with immediate effect).
The agreement runs for one year unless agreed otherwise, then renews automatically for another year each time (terms art. 9.1, updated 21 May 2026). Invoices are due within 14 days (art. 4.1).
Term agreed in the offer (with no agreed term, the contract runs indefinitely). Unless agreed otherwise, it renews automatically for the same period and needs two months' written notice, effective at the end of a month. CashDesk may index prices yearly to the Dutch consumer price index (CBS) and raise them during the term if its costs rise, with 30 days' notice; the restaurant may cancel if a rise other than indexation exceeds 10% a year (general terms, art. 4 and 12).
Cancel monthly (FAQ). The terms (updated 20 February 2026) give one month's notice, taking effect at the start of the next contract period. A restaurant can only switch between the subscription and volume-fee models when its current contract period ends.

1. Lightspeed Restaurant
Full-service and multi-location restaurants that want POS, online ordering and QR order-and-pay in one sales-led package
Lightspeed Restaurant is a cloud POS for restaurants, bars and hotels, with its own online ordering and QR order-and-pay module called Order Anywhere. It suits full-service and multi-location venues that want in-house, takeaway, delivery and table orders in one system. It charges a monthly subscription per plan (from 69 USD a month in the US), with online ordering included from the Essential plan or sold as an add-on, and card processing through Lightspeed Payments.

Online payments
Online payments go through Lightspeed Payments (card, Apple Pay; Twint in Switzerland; Bancontact, Payconiq and iDEAL in Belgium and the Netherlands) or Stripe; customers can also pay in person at pickup or after a table meal.
Includes: Own ordering website · QR table ordering · Pickup · Delivery orders · Your own drivers · Scheduled orders · Online payments · POS · Loyalty · Marketing tools · Delivery-app integration · Multiple locations · Reservations
Online, QR table and in-house orders land in the same POS; Order Anywhere has pickup-and-delivery and table profiles, and customers can order ahead for a later date or time (Lightspeed help centre).
Delivery can use the restaurant's own staff with its own zones, fees and minimums, or Uber Direct couriers with 0% commission and only a per-delivery fee (Uber Direct in the UK, Germany, Canada and the US only).
Orders from Uber Eats, DoorDash and SkipTheDishes can be sent to the POS through Deliverect (an add-on), and Order with Google sends Google Search and Maps users to the Order Anywhere site.
Online ordering and order-and-pay at table are not in the 69 USD Starter plan; they need the 189 USD Essential plan or a paid add-on (A$59 a month in Australia).
Card processing rates are not published on the US pricing page ('Default' on Starter, 'Custom' on Essential and Premium).
Not self-serve: plans start from a quote request, and Order Anywhere is bought through an account manager or [email protected].
Dutch takeaway and delivery restaurants that want their own ordering site, POS, QR ordering and driver app from one local supplier, billed by the day
Foodticket is a Dutch restaurant system from Huizen. Its OrderBuddy software combines a POS, the restaurant's own ordering website and app, QR table ordering, self-order kiosks, a kitchen screen and a driver app, and it is sold to takeaway, delivery and dine-in restaurants in the Netherlands (it says more than 3,500 restaurants use it). It advertises a daily rate of 1.50 to 2 EUR with no setup fee and no commission on web shop or QR orders, and card payments at 0.061 EUR each, but its restaurant terms also describe an agreed commission structure and a 12-month minimum term.

Commission
The website says restaurants pay no commission on orders from their own Foodticket ordering site and no commission per QR order. The restaurant terms (version 3.0, 17 November 2025) say the restaurant agrees to a weekly commission structure per location, invoiced from the revenue that passes through Foodticket; the rates are not published.
Online payments
Foodticket's own payment system, run with Adyen, takes iDEAL, Apple Pay, Google Pay, credit cards and contactless payments online, at QR tables and on Foodticket card terminals and handhelds, for a flat 0.061 EUR per transaction. The payment system page says money reaches the restaurant within 1 or 2 working days on a payout date agreed with it; the terms say customer payments go through Foodticket's external payment provider, which deducts Foodticket's invoice before paying out, with weekly or monthly payout as standard, daily payout available at a cost, and a 40 EUR minimum payout. Business customers can be allowed to pay on account.
Includes: Own ordering website · QR table ordering · Pickup · Delivery orders · Your own drivers · Scheduled orders · Online payments · POS · Loyalty · Marketing tools · Branded app · Delivery-app integration · Multiple locations · Menu translation
One system for the restaurant's own ordering site and app, QR table ordering, kiosks, POS, kitchen screen and the Delivery-Buddy driver app with live GPS tracking and cash tracking (Foodticket product pages).
Orders from Thuisbezorgd, Uber Eats and Deliveroo arrive in the same OrderBuddy system as web shop and POS orders, with links to Adyen, Exact, Yuki, Mailchimp, Piggy/Leat, Apicbase and Nostradamus (integrations page).
A published all-in daily rate (1.50 EUR in the OrderBuddy FAQ, 2 EUR on the homepage) with no setup fee, a 2-week free trial, no commission on web shop or QR orders, and card payments at a flat 0.061 EUR per transaction (OrderBuddy, start, QR and payment system pages).
The site gives two daily prices, 1.50 EUR in the OrderBuddy, takeaway and franchise FAQs and 2 EUR on the homepage and in the kitchen display FAQ, and there is no pricing page listing what each rate includes.
The restaurant terms (version 3.0, 17 November 2025) set a 12-month minimum term unless agreed otherwise, with an early-exit fee of at least 3,500 EUR, while the website says OrderBuddy is cancellable monthly.
The terms describe an agreed weekly commission structure per location and a per-order administration fee paid by the restaurant's customers, and say domains and social media accounts created by Foodticket are closed on exit and must be bought back from the providers.
Dutch delivery and takeaway restaurants that want their own ordering site and app, a POS and a driver app for a flat daily fee, with Thuisbezorgd and Uber Eats orders in the same system
Sitedish is an Amsterdam company (SiteDish.nl BV) that gives delivery and takeaway restaurants in the Netherlands their own ordering website and branded ordering app, bundled with free POS software, a driver app, table QR ordering and marketing tools; it says more than 3,500 restaurants use it. It advertises the whole package for 1 EUR a day plus 0.30 EUR per online-paid transaction, with no setup fee and no percentage commission, and sells hardware such as tills, card terminals and kiosks separately.

Customers pay online on the ordering site with iDEAL | WERO (ordering site & app page) and by credit card, which a restaurant can ask to have switched off (terms art. 8.9). Table QR uses the same online payments, and the restaurant can also let guests pay by card terminal or cash (Tafel QR FAQ). Sitedish collects online payments and pays them out weekly after deducting its invoices; its terms name Mollie ('at the time of writing') as the payment service provider whose chargeback costs are passed on, and the partners page lists MultiSafepay as a partner. In store, the Sitedish Pin terminal takes debit and credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay; other card terminals cannot be linked to the Sitedish POS.
Includes: Own ordering website · QR table ordering · Pickup · Delivery orders · Your own drivers · Scheduled orders · Online payments · POS · Loyalty · Marketing tools · Branded app · Delivery-app integration · Multiple locations
One package covers the restaurant's own ordering site and iPhone/Android app, free Sitedish POS software, the BezorgApp driver app with driver tracking on a map, table QR ordering and marketing tools (newsletters, push messages, loyalty card, lost-customer offers, upsell), advertised at 1 EUR a day with no setup fee (product pages, switching-service page).
Thuisbezorgd and Uber Eats orders arrive in the Sitedish POS alongside website, app, phone and table orders, and Sitedish also links to other tills such as Mplus, Tonit (E-cash), YourPos, Untill, Bork and Vectron (POS page, FAQ).
A franchise account runs many outlets from one place with shared branding and per-outlet prices, as used by FEBO (FEBO case study).
No pricing page: only '1 EUR a day' plus '0.30 EUR per online transaction' is published, Marketing Pro costs extra at an unpublished price, and hardware is sold separately (landing pages, marketing tools and hardware pages).
The POS cannot be used without the Sitedish ordering site, the Thuisbezorgd/Uber Eats link cannot be bought on its own, and only Sitedish's own card terminal and kiosks can be linked (FAQ).
The software runs on Windows, iOS and Android only; macOS and Chromebooks are not supported (FAQ). New iOS ordering apps are temporarily not being accepted while the App Store publishing set-up is rebuilt (notice on the ordering site & app page).

Cafés, bars and takeaways in the UK and western Europe already on SumUp POS that want QR table ordering and order-ahead pickup paid by phone
SumUp Order & Pay (QR Order and Pay in SumUp's help centre) is the ordering tool in SumUp's POS Plus plan: guests scan a table QR code or open the restaurant's ordering link, browse the menu, pay on their phone, and the order goes to the SumUp kitchen display or a kitchen printer. It is for cafés, bars, takeaways and restaurants on SumUp POS in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland. It costs the POS Plus subscription (£39 a month excl. VAT in the UK, €49 on the other countries' pages, on a 12-month contract) plus SumUp's transaction fee on each order (2.5% in six of these countries), with no separate commission.

SumUp processes every Order & Pay payment itself: guests pay on their phone with Apple Pay, Google Pay and the other online payment methods SumUp supports (the help centre also lists PIX). Tipping (fixed amount or percentage) can be switched on. Refunds for orders rejected from the kitchen display can be enabled.
No separate commission: the restaurant pays the POS Plus subscription and SumUp's transaction fee on each order — 2.5% in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Switzerland, 1.95% in Spain and 1.69% on the Irish page (SumUp Order & Pay pages).
Orders go straight to the SumUp kitchen display (KDS) or a kitchen printer (the UK help article lists the printer with POS Pro); modifiers come from the POS and stock is synced from the POS and checked in real time (SumUp help centre).
Guests need no app and no account: they order from a table QR code, an online link or the restaurant's website, and can order ahead and choose a pick-up time slot; each store gets its own ordering URL (Order & Pay page, help centre).
Only available with POS Plus: £39 a month excl. VAT in the UK or €49 a month in euro countries, billed monthly on a 12-month contract after a 30-day free trial (SumUp help centre).
Built for dining in, ordering ahead and click and collect: the order types are eat-in and takeaway, and no delivery order type is described on the Order & Pay pages or in the help articles (SumUp help centre).
Order & Pay pages exist for only 8 countries (UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland), although SumUp operates in 38 markets (SumUp Order & Pay pages, Canada launch press release).
Independent restaurants, cafés and bars in the Netherlands and Tebi's other European markets that want a POS, reservations, and QR table and takeaway ordering in one system, with no base subscription fee in months when revenue is 10,000 EUR or less
Tebi is a restaurant system from Tebi B.V. in Amsterdam. It combines a POS, kitchen display, reservations, payments and QR ordering, which covers table orders and takeaway orders through a QR code or widget. It is built for independent restaurants, cafés and bars, and has local pricing pages for eight European countries, including the Netherlands, Spain, Germany and the UK. One subscription rises with monthly revenue: 0 EUR up to 10,000 EUR of revenue (excl. VAT), then 20 EUR a month for each further 10,000 EUR. Card payments through Tebi Payments are charged per transaction.

Guests order and pay for QR orders in the restaurant's digital menu, through Tebi Payments. Tebi works with Adyen: its terminals are Adyen terminals, and the terms say payouts are made via Adyen. The restaurant chooses whether an order reaches it only after the guest has paid, or straight away before payment. Tebi Payments accepts Maestro, VPay, Visa and Mastercard, plus Apple Pay and Google Wallet. American Express, Diners Club, Discover, JCB and UnionPay cost more and are switched off by default. The Dutch pricing page lists iDEAL for online payments. In person, Tebi works with Adyen terminals and with Tap to Pay on iOS and Android phones. A restaurant that wants to keep another payment provider can key payments manually into its existing terminal.
Includes: Own ordering website · QR table ordering · Pickup · Online payments · POS · Multiple locations · Menu translation · Reservations
One subscription covers the POS, kitchen display, reservations, QR ordering, inventory, payments, AI insights and CRM. There are no per-module fees, and screens, printers and terminals can be added with no fee for each one (Tebi pricing and sign-up pages).
The subscription is 0 EUR in any month when revenue is 10,000 EUR or less (excl. VAT), and there is no contract. The agreement runs month to month, and back-office access and data stay available in months with no revenue (Tebi pricing FAQ and terms of service).
QR orders sync straight to the POS and prep stations. Guests can order, pay and tip from the digital menu, and the QR ordering can be shown in the guest's language (Tebi QR ordering page). Takeaway orders can come in by QR code or through a widget (Tebi help centre).
The subscription rises with revenue: 20 EUR a month for every started 10,000 EUR above the first 10,000 EUR, or 180 EUR a month at 100,000 EUR of revenue on Tebi's calculator. Some countries list extra fees: in Germany each step costs 25 EUR plus a 15 EUR a month TSE fee, Spain adds 10 EUR a month for Verifactu, and Italy adds 10 EUR a month for digital fiscal management (Tebi local pricing pages).
Online QR payments cost more than in-person payments: 0.08 EUR instead of 0.05 EUR per transaction, and 3.10% instead of 2.20% for American Express, plus card fees. Amex, Diners Club, Discover, JCB and UnionPay are switched off by default (Tebi pricing and payments pages).
Tebi's QR ordering page, pricing page and help-centre feature list cover table and takeaway orders, but none of them mentions delivery orders, delivery zones or delivery-app integrations. The integrations listed in the help centre (December 2025 archived copy) are Exact Online, Xero, Twinfield, Yuki, Moneybird, Odoo, Eitje and Einstein, mostly accounting and back-office tools.

It is sold through a demo request to restaurants, bars, beach clubs, food halls, hotels, holiday parks and stadiums. The Flex plan has no monthly fee and charges a 3% commission; the Modular plan has no commission and costs €90 a month plus €30–€50 a month per ordering module, and Enterprise is quoted.

Butlaroo Pay, Butlaroo's own payments offering, built into every channel with no separate processor contract; its terms say Butlaroo acts as a technical facilitator and a licensed payment service provider processes the payments. Methods listed: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Maestro, Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL, Bancontact, Klarna, Sofort, PayPal, Payconiq, V Pay, MobilePay, Alipay and UnionPay. Payouts arrive the next business morning by default (weekly or monthly optional), with split payments for multi-vendor food halls. The integrations page also lists Adyen, Tikkie, Rabobank and ABN Amro; the POS works with Adyen, Worldline, CCV and Stripe Terminal card terminals.
Includes: Own ordering website · QR table ordering · Pickup · Delivery orders · Your own drivers · Scheduled orders · Online payments · POS · Loyalty · Marketing tools · Delivery-app integration · Multiple locations · Menu translation
The Flex plan has no monthly fee and no setup fee and includes every module (QR ordering, kiosk, click & collect, delivery, POS, KDS and the Uber Eats / Just Eat Takeaway integration) for a 3% commission, with payment processing charged separately (pricing page).
One system for every channel: QR table ordering, self-order kiosks, its own POS, click & collect with pickup-time slots, and own-brand delivery with a driver app, live ETA and delivery zones with a fee per zone, plus integrations with Oracle Micros, Lightspeed, unTill, Trivec, Vectron and 20+ other EU POS systems (Butlaroo product pages).
Payments are built in through Butlaroo Pay: cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL, Bancontact and Klarna, next-business-morning payouts and split payments for food halls, without a separate processor agreement (Butlaroo Pay page, contact FAQ).
Not commission-free on the no-fee plan: Flex charges a 3% commission, and the Modular plan without commission costs €90 a month (£90 in the UK, $99 in the US) plus €30–€50 a month for each ordering module (pricing page).
Its standard terms default to a 12-month contract that renews automatically for another 12 months unless cancelled 30 days before the end, and Butlaroo may change its rates with 30 days' notice (terms of service, 24 March 2026).
Card processing rates are not published ("Talk to sales"); fraud protection adds €0.10 per credit card transaction, and the Delivery page mentions a small per-order fee that the pricing page does not list (Butlaroo Pay and Delivery pages).
Restaurants, hotels and leisure venues in its main European markets (the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, the UK and Sweden) that already use a POS and want kiosks, QR table ordering and a commission-free webshop on one platform
Jamezz is a digital ordering platform from Breda, in the Netherlands, founded in 2017. It gives restaurants, hotels and leisure venues self-ordering kiosks, QR table ordering, tablet ordering, a webshop for pickup and delivery, and all-you-can-eat round management, linked to the venue's existing POS. It charges a flat monthly subscription per location with 0% commission on orders (the webshop also has a one-time setup fee), and prices are only given as a quote after a demo.

Jamezz does not process payments itself. It connects to Mollie, Adyen, CM.com and PAY., and the webshop page also names Stripe. Depending on the provider and market, guests can pay by card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL, Bancontact or PayPal. With QR ordering, guests can pay straight after ordering or pay at the bar or register later. Kiosks can take cash if a cash module is fitted. The provider sets the transaction costs.
0% commission on orders on every channel, with a flat monthly subscription per location (FAQ, FAQ for AI). The FAQ says all POS integrations are included in the subscription at no extra cost.
Five channels on one platform: self-ordering kiosk, QR table ordering, tablet ordering, a webshop for pickup and delivery, and all-you-can-eat round management. They share one menu, POS link and set of analytics, and a venue can start with one channel and add more later (FAQ).
Ready-made integrations with 11 POS systems, including Lightspeed, unTill, Oracle MICROS Simphony, NCR Aloha, Trivec, Vectron and MplusKASSA (llms.txt). It can also run without a POS using kitchen printers or screens (FAQ), and it links to Deliverect, which brings Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Takeaway orders into one dashboard (Deliverect page).
No published prices and no self-serve sign-up: the site's 'Try now' button leads to a demo request, and the quote comes after the demo (homepage, FAQ). The monthly subscription per location changes with channels, number of tables and add-ons, and the webshop also has a one-time setup fee (webshop and QR pages).
Contracts run for one year and renew automatically each year (terms art. 9.1). Start-up costs are due within 14 days of signing (art. 4.2). Jamezz may also raise quoted prices if circumstances or the work change, and this does not give the customer a right to end the agreement (art. 3.3).
It is not a POS or a payment processor. A venue needs its own POS, or kitchen printers or screens, and online payments need an account with a separate provider such as Mollie or Adyen, which charges its own transaction fees (FAQ, webshop page, llms.txt).
Delivery and takeaway restaurants and franchise chains in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany that want their own ordering website, a delivery POS and driver tracking from one supplier
CashDesk is a Dutch POS and delivery software company from Hoofddorp for delivery and takeaway restaurants and franchise chains. It builds branded ordering websites and apps, and adds a delivery POS with till, kitchen and driver screens, a GPS driver app, QR ordering, kiosks and automatic order imports from Thuisbezorgd, Uber Eats and other platforms. Each restaurant gets a custom monthly quote (the homepage says from €1.00 a day), with no commission on website orders and €0.10 per iDEAL payment.

The ordering website and app take iDEAL, PayPal and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard). Each restaurant gets its own iDEAL account, and CashDesk charges €0.10 per iDEAL order. QR payments at the table and at the door go through MultiSafepay (iDEAL, Apple Pay, PayPal and other methods). The POS page lists links to ATOS and CCV card terminals, and the partner connections page lists Worldline.
Includes: Own ordering website · QR table ordering · Pickup · Delivery orders · Your own drivers · Scheduled orders · Online payments · POS · Loyalty · Marketing tools · Branded app · Delivery-app integration · Multiple locations
One supplier covers the ordering website, a branded iOS and Android ordering app, the delivery POS with till, kitchen and driver screens, a GPS driver app, QR ordering and ordering kiosks (CashDesk homepage and product pages).
Orders from Thuisbezorgd, Uber Eats, Deliveroo and other platforms (CashDesk says 30+) are imported automatically into the CashDesk POS, so staff do not retype them (delivery software, partner connections and franchise software pages).
Website orders carry no commission. The restaurant pays a fixed monthly amount plus €0.10 per iDEAL payment, and customers can order up to 10 days ahead (ordering website page).
No public price list: each restaurant gets a custom quote, and the homepage only says a complete solution starts from €1.00 a day (CashDesk homepage).
Contracts renew automatically for the same period and need two months' written notice. CashDesk may raise prices every year in line with inflation, and during the term if its own costs rise (CashDesk general terms, art. 4 and 12).
No self-serve sign-up: restaurants request a demo or quote, and a new ordering website usually takes one to two weeks to set up (ordering website FAQ).
Dutch and Belgian takeaway and quick-service restaurants that want their own webshop, QR ordering, kiosk and POS from one local supplier, and a choice between a per-order fee and a flat monthly price
Bistroo is ordering software from Eindhoven, in the Netherlands, live in the Netherlands and Belgium. It gives restaurants their own website and webshop for pickup and delivery, QR table ordering, self-order kiosks and a POS for quick-service restaurants, all run from the Bistroo Manager. Restaurants either pay no monthly fee and give Bistroo a percentage of each order (7% on webshop and website orders, 3.49% on QR orders, 1.49% on POS and kiosk orders), or pay 39 EUR a month for the first product plus 15 EUR for each extra product with no volume fee.

Commission
Depends on the pricing model. On the free volume-fee model Bistroo keeps 7% of each Website or Webshop order, 3.49% of each QR order and 1.49% of each POS or kiosk order, withheld from the transaction (pricing page, terms art. 7.5). On a subscription, no volume fee applies to Webshop, Website, QR or Kiosk orders (terms art. 7.4).
Online payments
The restaurant connects its own Stripe or Mollie account, one active provider per webshop. Through them it can offer iDEAL, Bancontact, credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and via Mollie also Klarna and PayPal (on Stripe, iDEAL needs an extension). The POS takes PIN, contactless and split payments. The FAQ says orders via Bistroo are always prepaid, and that online-order revenue from Thursday to Wednesday is paid out on Monday by default, following Stripe's schedule. The terms say Bistroo pays out weekly or daily and can set unpaid invoices and refunds off against payouts.
