The 10 best online ordering systems for restaurants in Germany.
Restaurants in Germany take orders on their own websites, apps and tables through local and regional systems such as DISH Order, SIDES and FoodAmigos. Of the 9 systems compared here besides Menuthere, 8 say they take no commission on orders and 1 has a free plan; the rest charge a monthly fee or quote per restaurant.
Menuthere publishes this list and makes one of the systems on it (number 3). Every figure comes from the companies' own pages, dated and listed on each system's page. How we ranked them is at the foot of the page.

Contract
Depends on the country. Germany: 36-, 12- or 3-month terms (shorter terms cost more). France: 12 months, 3 months or no commitment. Italy: 12 months, 6 months or no commitment. Spain (DISH Premium): 12 months, 6 months or no commitment. Poland and Croatia: 12 months or no commitment. The Austrian, Czech, Hungarian, Romanian and Slovak pages show no term.
24-month initial term, then renews automatically by 12 months unless cancelled in writing 3 months before the end (terms dated 25 April 2025)
Month to month; 7-day free trial on Lite and Pro
Month to month under the Restaurant Platform Terms: a one-month term that renews monthly and can be cancelled in text form to the end of the month. Under the German Platform Terms, the length is set in each contract and renews automatically, with 15% off for a 12-month term. Both sets of terms let FoodAmigos change fees with four weeks' notice.
24 months from go-live; cancel in writing at least 3 months before the term ends, otherwise it renews automatically for one year (order smart FAQ)
Not stated on the US or Australian pricing pages; the Norwegian price list says its price applies to a 12-month contract period
VECTRON SMART: 24-month minimum term. The myVectron terms for new merchants from 1 May 2026 set a 24-month minimum that renews for 12 months at a time unless cancelled in text form 3 months before the end, and allow one index-linked price rise a year. The myVectron tariff pages and most August 2025 country price lists say modules run for one month unless stated otherwise (the English and Dutch ordering pages advertise In-house Ordering at 99 € a month with monthly cancellation); the restablo ordering service has a 36-month term. Business customers only.
POS Plus: 30-day free trial, then billed monthly on a 12-month contract; cancel before the trial ends or once the 12 months end (SumUp help centre, UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Spain).
BASIC can be cancelled at any time. PREMIUM and ULTIMATE have a 12-month minimum term that renews for another 12 months unless cancelled in writing with 4 weeks' notice before the end of the term. A monthly cancellation right costs 10 EUR net a month extra. Add-ons follow the main plan's term, and services cannot be cancelled monthly, except the phone assistant (pricing page; terms last updated 1 August 2025).
Monthly and success tariffs: 3-month minimum, then cancellable monthly with 1 month's notice; yearly tariff cancellable 1 month before it ends; both renew automatically. Business customers only.

Restaurants in Germany, Austria and other European METRO markets that want a fixed-price ordering widget for their own website and Google listing
DISH Order (sold as DISH Professional Order) is a commission-free online ordering system from DISH Digital Solutions, the restaurant-software company of the wholesaler METRO. It costs a fixed monthly fee (from €49 a month in Germany, excluding VAT) plus a one-time setup fee, and DISH takes 1.89% of the takings on orders paid online.

A one-time setup fee on new contracts: €299 in Germany and Austria, €199 in France and Spain.
The lowest German price needs a 36-month contract; it rises to €59 a month on 12 months and €64 on 3 months.
Online payments cost 1.89% of gross takings on top of the monthly fee.

Independent restaurants in Germany, and GloriaFood users moving before April 2027, that want the provider to set up their ordering website, app and marketing for a flat monthly fee
FoodAmigos is an ordering platform from Foodamigos GmbH in Bonn, Germany. It sets up a commission-free ordering website for the restaurant, with QR ordering, table reservations, loyalty points and automated email and SMS marketing; a branded app is an add-on. It sells mainly to independent restaurants in Germany and, since GloriaFood said it will close on 30 April 2027, also courts GloriaFood restaurants and resellers. It charges a flat monthly fee per location with 0% commission: $35 a month on its international price list, while the German pricing page shows no prices and asks for a demo.

Card and wallet payments go through FoodAmigos' own payment service provider (the German terms name Stripe and Adyen, among others). The restaurant completes the provider's verification and receives payouts minus processing fees. The mobile-app page lists credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and local methods such as Giropay and EC-Karte. Cash and other offline payments are settled directly between the restaurant and the customer.
Includes: Own ordering website · QR table ordering · Pickup · Delivery orders · Your own drivers · Online payments · Loyalty · Marketing tools · Branded app · Multiple locations · Menu translation · Reservations
No commission: 0% per order and a flat monthly fee per location. The international plan costs $35 a month, or $25 from 20 live locations, with no setup fee (Restaurant Platform Terms, September 2026).
The core plan includes the website, online ordering, QR ordering for dine-in, pickup and delivery, table reservations with Reserve with Google, email marketing, promo codes, loyalty points and Google review management (Restaurant Platform Terms).
No long contract on the international plan: it runs month to month and can be cancelled to the end of the month, with no cancellation fee (GloriaFood-migration pricing FAQ; Restaurant Platform Terms).
The main foodamigos.io pricing page shows no prices, only a demo booking. Even the international price list says the exact price is confirmed on a call.
The sales pages and the contract differ. The foodamigos.io pricing FAQ says the app is included at no extra cost and promises 24/7 support, but the Restaurant Platform Terms charge $19 a month per location for the branded app ($29 for the AI Website Builder) and commit only to email and help-centre support in business hours, Monday to Friday (sections 6.2 and 9.1).
Online payments must go through FoodAmigos' payment provider: the restaurant cannot connect its own processor, and processing rates are not published (Restaurant Platform Terms, sections 7.1–7.2).
German delivery and takeaway restaurants that want a done-for-you branded web shop and app for a fixed monthly fee
order smart is a German shop system for delivery and takeaway restaurants: a branded ordering website on the restaurant's own .de domain, an optional native iOS and Android app, and add-ons such as the YOYO POS till, YOYO Pay card payments, a self-service kiosk and marketing services. It is aimed at pizza, döner, burger, sushi and Asian delivery restaurants in Germany, and its team builds the shop from the restaurant's logo and menu. It charges a one-off installation fee plus a fixed monthly fee from €119 (net) on a 24-month contract, with no commission on orders.

Orders placed through Order with Google are paid with Google Pay.
No commission: a fixed monthly fee that does not change with order volume (order smart FAQ).
Done for you: order smart's team builds the web shop and native iOS/Android app from the restaurant's logo and menu; the web shop usually takes 14 days and the app about four weeks (order smart FAQ).
One provider for the ordering shop, YOYO POS till, YOYO Pay card payments, a self-service kiosk and paid marketing services, each priced on the pricing page (order smart pricing page).
24-month contract that renews automatically for a year unless cancelled in writing 3 months before it ends (order smart FAQ).
A one-off installation fee on top of the monthly price, and its amount is not published (order smart FAQ).

Includes: Own ordering website · QR table ordering · Pickup · Delivery orders · Your own drivers · Scheduled orders · Online payments · POS · Loyalty · Marketing tools · Delivery-app integration · Multiple locations · Reservations
Online, QR table and in-house orders land in the same POS; Order Anywhere has pickup-and-delivery and table profiles, and customers can order ahead for a later date or time (Lightspeed help centre).
Delivery can use the restaurant's own staff with its own zones, fees and minimums, or Uber Direct couriers with 0% commission and only a per-delivery fee (Uber Direct in the UK, Germany, Canada and the US only).
Orders from Uber Eats, DoorDash and SkipTheDishes can be sent to the POS through Deliverect (an add-on), and Order with Google sends Google Search and Maps users to the Order Anywhere site.
Online ordering and order-and-pay at table are not in the 69 USD Starter plan; they need the 189 USD Essential plan or a paid add-on (A$59 a month in Australia).
Card processing rates are not published on the US pricing page ('Default' on Starter, 'Custom' on Essential and Premium).
Not self-serve: plans start from a quote request, and Order Anywhere is bought through an account manager or [email protected].

It is sold, installed and supported by about 300 dealers, mainly to restaurants, cafés and bakeries in Germany and nearby European countries. Online ordering costs 99 € a month (excluding VAT) as a myVectron module, or is included in the VECTRON SMART bundle from a 34.90 € monthly base fee on a 24-month term; the optional restablo ordering service takes 8% of each order instead.

VECTRON SMART uses Shift4 for card and online payments (Germany: 1.29% per card payment, Amex 1.9%, online 1.99%). QR in-house ordering offers optional PayPal payment with a tip option, and the payment is booked into the till. On the restablo ordering service, customers pay by PayPal, Klarna or Sofortüberweisung to rbNext Systems GmbH (restablo.de), which pays the restaurant on the first of the next month; cash or girocard on delivery or pickup goes straight to the restaurant.
Orders from QR table ordering and the online ordering shop go straight into the Vectron till and print an order ticket, with no re-typing; guests need no app or registration to order at the table (Vectron ordering page).
Vectron's own Online-Ordering is a flat 99 € a month (excluding VAT) with no commission, and the VECTRON SMART bundle includes all ordering modules, online checkout, table reservations, vouchers and bonVito loyalty at no extra charge (myVectron price list, 15 August 2025; VECTRON SMART page).
Sold, programmed, installed and serviced by about 300 local dealers; Vectron says it has sold more than 250,000 tills (company profile; VECTRON SMART page).
Built as an add-on to a Vectron till: the ordering modules are myVectron cloud services for the Vectron POS, sold through dealers, and programming, installation and service fees are not published (VECTRON SMART page; prices page; myVectron Digitalpakete).
Long contracts: VECTRON SMART has a 24-month minimum, and the myVectron terms for new merchants from May 2026 set 24 months that renew for 12 months unless cancelled 3 months ahead (VECTRON SMART FAQ; myVectron terms, section 17).
Outside the SMART bundle each ordering module is a separate monthly fee: 99 € for Online Ordering, 99 € for QR in-house ordering and 29.90 € for online checkout, excluding VAT (myVectron price list, Germany, 15 August 2025).
Cafés, bars and takeaways in the UK and western Europe already on SumUp POS that want QR table ordering and order-ahead pickup paid by phone
SumUp Order & Pay (QR Order and Pay in SumUp's help centre) is the ordering tool in SumUp's POS Plus plan: guests scan a table QR code or open the restaurant's ordering link, browse the menu, pay on their phone, and the order goes to the SumUp kitchen display or a kitchen printer. It is for cafés, bars, takeaways and restaurants on SumUp POS in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland. It costs the POS Plus subscription (£39 a month excl. VAT in the UK, €49 on the other countries' pages, on a 12-month contract) plus SumUp's transaction fee on each order (2.5% in six of these countries), with no separate commission.

SumUp processes every Order & Pay payment itself: guests pay on their phone with Apple Pay, Google Pay and the other online payment methods SumUp supports (the help centre also lists PIX). Tipping (fixed amount or percentage) can be switched on. Refunds for orders rejected from the kitchen display can be enabled.
No separate commission: the restaurant pays the POS Plus subscription and SumUp's transaction fee on each order — 2.5% in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Switzerland, 1.95% in Spain and 1.69% on the Irish page (SumUp Order & Pay pages).
Orders go straight to the SumUp kitchen display (KDS) or a kitchen printer (the UK help article lists the printer with POS Pro); modifiers come from the POS and stock is synced from the POS and checked in real time (SumUp help centre).
Guests need no app and no account: they order from a table QR code, an online link or the restaurant's website, and can order ahead and choose a pick-up time slot; each store gets its own ordering URL (Order & Pay page, help centre).
Only available with POS Plus: £39 a month excl. VAT in the UK or €49 a month in euro countries, billed monthly on a 12-month contract after a 30-day free trial (SumUp help centre).
Built for dining in, ordering ahead and click and collect: the order types are eat-in and takeaway, and no delivery order type is described on the Order & Pay pages or in the help articles (SumUp help centre).
Order & Pay pages exist for only 8 countries (UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland), although SumUp operates in 38 markets (SumUp Order & Pay pages, Canada launch press release).
Restaurants in Germany, Austria and Switzerland that mainly need table reservations and want pickup, delivery and QR table ordering in the same system, with no monthly fee to start
resmio is a restaurant reservation and management system from resmio GmbH in Nuremberg, Germany, whose digital menu also takes pickup, delivery, Google and QR table orders, paid online through the restaurant's own Stripe or PayPal account or in cash. Its home market is Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and its Spanish, Italian, French and Portuguese sites say it also has customers in those countries. Ordering is included in the free BASIC plan for a 4% commission (2% on QR table orders), or commission-free with a 149.90 EUR a month order flat rate on the paid plans (from 69.90 EUR a month, net).
Price

4% of the order value on pickup and delivery orders (including orders through Google), 2% on QR table orders, and 6% on voucher and ticket sales. The order flat rate (149.90 EUR a month, PREMIUM or ULTIMATE only) removes the order commission. No commission is charged on online orders in the first 30 days after sign-up.
Online payments
Guests pay online through the restaurant's own Stripe and/or PayPal business account connected to resmio: credit card, SEPA direct debit and PayPal. The restaurant can also accept cash for pickup and delivery, with an optional cash limit, or payment to the waiter for QR orders. Tips can be switched on. Google 'Order online' is available only to restaurants that accept cash payments.
Includes: Own ordering website · QR table ordering · Pickup · Delivery orders · Your own drivers · Scheduled orders · Online payments · Marketing tools · Multiple locations · Reservations
The free BASIC plan includes the digital menu with pickup, delivery, Google and QR table ordering. resmio charges no setup fee and gives free support by phone, email and live chat (resmio pricing page).
Reservations, voucher and ticket sales and online orders run in one resmio account; the paid plans add a table plan and waitlist, and email newsletters come with the Marketing add-on (resmio pricing page).
Pickup and delivery settings include delivery zones drawn on a map with a fee for each, a minimum order value, order limits, lead time and pre-orders up to six days ahead (resmio help centre).
Ordering is not commission-free by default: resmio takes 4% of pickup and delivery orders and 2% of QR table orders. Removing the commission takes the 149.90 EUR a month order flat rate, which is listed only on the paid plans (from 69.90 EUR a month, net) (resmio pricing page).
PREMIUM and ULTIMATE need a 12-month minimum contract that renews for another 12 months unless cancelled in writing 4 weeks before the end. Monthly cancellation costs 10 EUR a month extra (resmio pricing page and terms).
Online card, SEPA and PayPal payments need the restaurant's own Stripe and/or PayPal business account. resmio has no POS of its own: it connects to orderbird, LINA, APRO and Vectron, mostly for reservations and menu import (resmio ordering and integrations pages).

Prices are published per module: the ordering module is 69 EUR a month (690 EUR a year) with no commission, or 29 EUR a month plus 5% of online sales on the success tariff (Gastronovi price overview).
Own delivery with up to ten delivery zones set by postcode, each with its own delivery fee and minimum order; Lieferando, Wolt and Uber Eats orders can be brought in through Deliverect for 29 EUR a month plus 299 EUR setup (Gastronovi support portal and integrations page).
Works only with the Gastronovi POS: the ordering module needs the POS module (69 EUR a month for the first licence) and cannot connect to other POS systems (ordering system FAQ).
Not self-serve: restaurants book a consultation, then receive a tailored offer, and Gastronovi sells to businesses only (contact page and terms).
Monthly and success tariffs have a 3-month minimum term, and monthly and yearly tariffs renew automatically; the success tariff adds a 99 EUR setup fee per module (price overview).
Whether restaurants in Germany can sign up and use it today: a local site, local pricing, local customers or a sign-up open to any country.
What it costs a small restaurant: the monthly price, any commission or per-order fee, and contracts.
What it does for ordering: your own website, QR table ordering, delivery, pickup and payments.
Menuthere is on the list because it is a real option here, and we put it where its strengths — no commission and a free plan — fit; its limits (such as payments outside India) are stated in its entry.
Nobody paid to be on this list. Prices change: check each company's own page before you sign.

The table on this page compares all 10 on price, commission and features.
