The 10 best online ordering systems for restaurants in Norway.
Restaurants in Norway take orders on their own websites, apps and tables through local and regional systems such as Caspeco, Munu and Favrit. Of the 9 systems compared here besides Menuthere, 6 say they take no commission on orders and 2 have a free plan; the rest charge a monthly fee or quote per restaurant.
Menuthere publishes this list and makes one of the systems on it (number 4). Every figure comes from the companies' own pages, dated and listed on each system's page. How we ranked them is at the foot of the page.

Contract
Not published. Trivec by Caspeco's French site advertises "flexible contracts" and no hidden fees, but gives no terms.
Not published. The SLA (v1.1, effective 19 May 2026) becomes part of the customer agreement; hardware supplied by Munu is covered by a separate HaaS (rental) agreement.
Unclear. The takeaway page says there is no binding period and you pay month to month; the general FAQ says agreements typically start with a binding period whose length is set in each contract. A money-back guarantee is advertised.
Month to month; 7-day free trial on Lite and Pro
Software subscription runs at least 6 months from installation, then 3 months' written notice to the end of a month (earliest exit at the end of month 9). Rented hardware is bound for at least 36 months (earliest exit at the end of month 39). Billed monthly in advance by direct debit; prices can be adjusted with 3 months' notice (Danish and Norwegian terms, March 2023).
Not published. The Season licence is paid only for the months it is active, and Pck mobil devices can be switched on for chosen months.
The pricing page says '0 months' contract and 'no contract lock-in'. The terms say the subscription is billed monthly in advance and needs 3 months' written notice to cancel, paid in full with no refunds. A binding period in an individual agreement applies first.
Billed yearly or monthly. Monthly billing is only for cloud hosting (Odoo Online or Odoo.sh), and yearly billing is cheaper.
Not stated on the US or Australian pricing pages; the Norwegian price list says its price applies to a 12-month contract period
Basic, Grow and Pro are rolling monthly, cancel any time; Enterprise runs on an agreed term (pricing page). The fee docs also describe a 'monthly' billing type that is a 12-month commitment with a lower transaction rate.

Where Menuthere fits in Norway
Your own ordering page, without paying commission.
0% commission on every plan: your customers' orders are yours in full.
Free to start, with 50 orders a month. Lite is $9 a month for unlimited orders and your own domain.
Your own ordering website, QR menus and table ordering, with a partner app that rings until you accept each order.
Pro adds WhatsApp order updates on your own number, loyalty points and your own delivery riders.
Online card payments aren't available in Norway yet: customers pay cash, on delivery or at pickup, and card payments are planned.
Nordic, French and Belgian restaurants and chains that want POS, online ordering, table booking and staff scheduling from one supplier
Caspeco is a Swedish restaurant system that combines a POS (Caspeco POS or Trivec POS), Online Order (web ordering, a branded app and QR table ordering), table booking, staff scheduling and payroll, and analytics. It is sold to restaurants, bars, cafés, hotels and chains in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, France and Belgium. Prices are quoted per business: Caspeco publishes no price list, and card payments need an acquiring agreement with a partner acquirer.

Online payments
With Online Order, guests order and pay online, but Caspeco does not say which gateway processes those payments. Its integrations page lists Elavon and Swedbank Pay under acquiring agreements and Verifone and Westpay under hardware, with Softpay among its other partners. Booking prepayments can be taken by card or Swish.
Web orders, a branded app, QR table orders, self-order kiosks, and handheld and fixed tills all feed the same POS. Menus and prices are managed in one place, including different menus and prices for each unit of a chain.
Orders from Foodora, Uber Eats and Wolt go straight into the POS through Deliverect, and online menus sync from the Caspeco POS. That means no separate tablets or printers and no retyping orders.
Table booking is built in, with card or Swish prepayment and SMS reminders. Bookings feed staff scheduling, and Booking is billed as a fixed monthly fee with no charge per booked guest.
No published prices. Every solution is quoted, and Caspeco says it has no standard price list.
No self-serve sign-up or published free trial. Restaurants fill in a contact form or book a demo.
Online Order is presented as part of Caspeco's POS ("seamlessly integrated with Caspeco's POS system"). The site does not offer it as a standalone ordering website.
Nordic restaurants, bars and hotel venues that want POS, online ordering, QR table ordering and table booking from one vendor, with Vipps, Swish and MobilePay
Munu is a Norwegian cloud POS for restaurants, cafés, bars, hotels and event venues. Its online ordering, Munu Takeaway & Order, is built into the POS: a branded webshop for pickup, delivery and pre-orders, QR table ordering and catering orders, all sent straight to Munu POS and the kitchen. It sells to hospitality businesses in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland through demos, and does not publish prices.

Munu Payments, built on Adyen's payment technology, takes both in-store and online payments. For the webshop, Munu names Vipps, Swish and card payments (Takeaway & Order FAQ). Munu Payments also supports Apple Pay and Google Pay (Payments page), and Munu's FAQ lists MobilePay support for Denmark and Finland.
Online orders go straight into the POS: webshop and QR orders reach Munu POS, the kitchen and reporting, menus and prices sync from the POS, and sold-out items drop off the webshop automatically (Munu Takeaway & Order page).
One platform covers a branded takeaway and delivery webshop with pre-orders, QR table ordering, catering orders, self-service kiosks, table booking and gift cards (Munu product pages).
Built for Nordic payments: the webshop takes Vipps, Swish and cards through Munu Payments (Adyen), which also supports Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Munu lists MobilePay support for Denmark and Finland (Takeaway & Order page, Payments page, FAQ).
No public prices: the site only offers a demo, and neither the SLA nor any product page gives an amount for the software, card fees or setup (Munu website, SLA).
Serves only Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland, and sign-up goes through a demo booking; there is no self-serve sign-up (Munu about page, May 2026 press release, contact page).
Online ordering is part of the Munu platform, running on Munu POS and Munu Payments; no standalone ordering plan for restaurants on another POS is described (Takeaway & Order page).
Norwegian restaurants, bars and food halls that want the till, QR table ordering and commission-free takeaway ordering in one approved POS
Favrit is a Norwegian cloud POS for restaurants, bars, cafés, food halls, hotels and festivals. The till, QR table ordering, mobile and online takeaway ordering, integrated payments (Vipps, cards, Apple Pay) and accounting links all run in one system, and Favrit says over 2,000 venues in Norway use it. It is sold by demo and quote as a monthly licence per venue, from NOK 899 a month excluding VAT, with no commission or per-order fee from Favrit; card fees go to the acquirer.

Favrit Payments runs card acquiring through Adyen or F1 (a Norwegian acquirer for BankAxept plus Elavon for international cards). Guests can pay with Vipps, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard, BankAxept, cash or invoice. Softpay turns Android devices into card terminals. Nets appears in the integrations list, but the FAQ says Favrit does not use Nets as its acquirer.
No commission on online orders and no per-transaction fee from Favrit itself; only the acquirer's card fees apply (homepage and FAQ).
QR table ordering, mobile ordering and online takeaway/pickup orders run in the same system as the till. Guests order in the phone browser with no app or login, pay in the same flow, and orders go straight to the right kitchen or bar.
Built for Norwegian rules: an approved cash register system, automatic Z-reports to the Norwegian Tax Administration's requirements, and 18 accounting systems supported out of the box (Tripletex, PowerOffice, Fiken, Visma, Xero and others). Norwegian support answers every day.
Only a starting price is published (NOK 899 a month per venue, excl. VAT). The final price, setup cost and hardware are quoted per venue, and Favrit says there is no published list price.
Made primarily for Norway: support and onboarding are in Norwegian, and there is no self-serve sign-up — venues book a demo or ask for a quote.
Contract terms are stated inconsistently: one page says no binding period, month to month; the FAQ says agreements typically start with a binding period set in each contract.

Danish and Norwegian restaurants and bars that want a full POS plus a commission-free take-away page and QR table ordering from one supplier
OnlinePOS is a cloud POS for restaurants, cafés, bars and nightclubs, made by OnlinePOS A/S in Randers, Denmark, since 2008 and also sold in Norway through OnlinePOS AS. Its take-away module gives a restaurant its own ordering page, linked from its website, for pickup or delivery at a time the customer picks, with orders going straight into the POS; a QR module lets guests order and pay at the table. It is sold after a demo on monthly subscriptions with 0% commission: the take-away module is a fixed 495 kr. a month in Denmark (NOK 399 in Norway) on top of the POS, whose Danish Essentials Bundle starts from 399 kr. a month.

In QR table ordering the guest pays in the ordering flow when ordering; the product page does not name the gateway, and the take-away page does not say how customers pay. OnlinePOS lists integrations with Nets, Quickpay, MobilePay (including MobilePay Point of Sale) and MultiPay, sells integrated and mobile card terminals (Lane/3600, Move/3500, P630, T650P, Sunmi V3), and bundles Softpay in the Danish Essentials Bundle.
Commission-free take-away page: 0% commission for a fixed 495 kr. a month in Denmark or NOK 399 a month in Norway; orders land on the POS terminal and print automatically (OnlinePOS take-away pages, Norwegian price list).
Capacity control lets staff turn the number of take-away orders accepted up or down when the restaurant is busy (OnlinePOS take-away page).
One supplier for POS, handheld terminals, QR ordering with payment at the table, kiosks, kitchen screens and an HQ module for several sites (NOK 199 a month in Norway), plus 50+ integrations including Wolt, Just Eat, Hungry, Deliverect, Planday, Visma e-conomic and table-booking systems (OnlinePOS product and integration pages).
No self-serve sign-up or public POS prices: pages lead to a demo booking, OnlinePOS helps set up the take-away page and link it to the restaurant's website, the Danish price page is password-protected, and the Norwegian price list shows no price for the Essentials, Plus and Advanced plans.
The take-away page is an add-on to the OnlinePOS POS (listed under Add-ons on the Norwegian site, with orders going into the POS terminal), not a standalone ordering website.
Tie-in: the Danish homepage promises no long lock-ins, but the terms bind the software subscription for at least 6 months plus 3 months' notice and rented hardware for 36 months, and let prices rise for inflation or cost increases with 3 months' notice (terms, sections 2.3 and 9.1).
Norwegian restaurants, cafés and takeaways that want one POS with its own takeaway webshop (paid by Vipps) and QR table ordering
Pckasse is a Norwegian POS made by PCK AS in Sandefjord, used by shops, restaurants, cafés, takeaways and cultural venues. For restaurants it adds a takeaway webshop paid by Vipps, QR table ordering, kitchen screens, self-service kiosks and a mobile till. It is sold through resellers on monthly subscriptions: the POS starts at NOK 405 a month excluding VAT, and the takeaway and QR ordering webshop is listed from NOK 0 a month on top.
Price
From kr 405/mo

Not published. PCK's price list shows no commission or per-order fee for the takeaway webshop, only a monthly price from NOK 0.

Takeaway web orders must be paid with Vipps (Vipps MobilePay), using the restaurant's own Vipps agreement and API keys. QR table orders can instead create a parked order in the till and be paid in the restaurant. The regular webshop also supports Klarna Checkout, Nexi Checkout, Svea and Two. In store, Pckasse works with Nets, Worldline, Verifone and Aera. Pck mobil takes payment through Verifone, Vibrant, Softpay or Vipps MobilePay, and the self-service kiosk takes Vipps and cards.
Takeaway ordering and QR table ordering come with the POS: the webshop is created from the Pckasse admin, table orders arrive in the till with the table number, and the system separates order types and applies the right VAT rate. The price list shows this webshop from NOK 0 a month with no setup fee.
PCK publishes its price list: the POS from NOK 405 a month, a mobile till from NOK 310 per device and kitchen screens at NOK 205 per screen type (ex VAT). A Season licence is paid only for the months it is used.
One system for many ways to order: counter till, waiter mobile till, self-service kiosk, QR table ordering and takeaway webshop, plus kitchen screens and SMS alerts when food is ready.
Takeaway customers must pay with Vipps. The restaurant has to order its own Vipps agreement, which PCK warns can take a while, and enter its Vipps API keys in the webshop itself.
Sold only through resellers in Norway. PCK's pages are in Norwegian, the package is put together with a reseller, and the full feature list and the Light price come from the reseller.
PCK's pages describe takeaway for pickup only. They do not describe restaurant delivery, and the integrations page lists no delivery apps such as Wolt or Foodora.
Restaurants in Denmark, Norway, Sweden or Italy that want POS, card payments, reservations and pick-up ordering from one supplier
Superb is a Danish all-in-one platform for restaurants, cafés and bars: an iPad POS with its own card terminal, table reservations, online gift cards, email marketing and online takeaway ordering from the restaurant's own website. The free Go plan covers only the POS and terminal, and online takeaway comes with the Plus plan, which is priced by quote. Superb takes no commission on takeaway orders, but it earns a transaction fee on every card payment, and its terms put a 5% fee on online payments.

Superb processes payments itself, both at its own card terminals and online. It says it takes "any payment method – online or in your restaurant" with next-day payout. Its integrations page lists Apple Pay, Google Pay, Vipps and GetYourBill as payment methods. The underlying acquirer is not named on the site or in the terms.
One platform covers the POS, card terminal, reservations, online gift cards, email marketing and online takeaway. Takeaway orders go straight to the POS and kitchen, and the restaurant adds a takeaway link to its own website with no integration needed.
Superb says it takes no commission on takeaway orders.
The Go plan costs €0 a month (0 kr in Denmark and Norway), with no terminal rent and a 0.99% IC++ fee that covers debit, credit and corporate cards. Plus lowers the fee to 0.75%.
Online takeaway is only in the Plus plan, and Plus has no published price. The pricing button opens a lead form. The free Go plan is POS and card terminal only.
The terms of service (last updated 01/09/2026) charge 5% on all online transactions and €199 excl. VAT per card terminal at contract signature, although the pricing page shows terminal rent as free. International and commercial cards cost 3% if surcharging to guests is switched off.
The pricing page says '0 months' contract, but the terms need 3 months' written notice to cancel, paid in full with no refunds. The terms also allow a price rise of up to 5% a year, a €59 monthly shortfall fee if card volume falls below the agreed level (all in-store revenue must go through Superb terminals), and a €399 charge for each terminal not returned within 10 days.
Restaurants that want QR ordering, kiosks and kitchen screens in a POS linked to full accounting and inventory, and can manage a more involved setup
Odoo is a Belgian suite of open-source business apps. Its POS Restaurant app runs table service, kitchen displays, QR and kiosk self-ordering, and takeaway and delivery orders, and its eCommerce app adds an online ordering website. It suits restaurants that want the till connected to Odoo's accounting, inventory and marketing apps. One app, such as POS Restaurant, is free for unlimited users. Using two or more apps costs a fee per user per month (Standard is US$31.10 billed yearly), and the pricing page lists no per-order commission.

Online payments go through a payment provider the restaurant connects. Options include Adyen, Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Mercado Pago, Mollie, Xendit, Flutterwave, Paymob and PayU. Pay-on-site and cash on delivery are also available. In-store card terminals include Adyen, Stripe, Viva.com, Worldline, SIX, Ingenico, Mercado Pago, Razorpay, Pine Labs, Tyro, QFPay, Mollie and DPO Pay. QR self-orders can take one online payment method. At a kiosk, card terminals must be Adyen or Stripe, guests can also pay online by scanning a QR code, and cash is not accepted.
POS Restaurant is free with unlimited users on the One App Free plan, and the pricing page lists no per-order commission (Odoo pricing page; Odoo POS Restaurant page).
QR table ordering and self-order kiosks are built into the POS. Guests order and pay from their phone or a kiosk, and orders go straight to the kitchen preparation display (Odoo 19.0 documentation, Self-ordering).
Dine-in, takeaway, eCommerce website orders and delivery-app orders are handled in one place. Delivery can be limited to a set radius, and orders can be booked into time slots (Odoo POS Restaurant features page; Odoo documentation, Presets).
Website orders for delivery or pickup run through Odoo's eCommerce app, which is separate from POS. Installing a second app moves the restaurant off the free plan onto Standard, at US$31.10 per user a month billed yearly (US$24.90 in the first year) (Odoo pricing page; Odoo POS Restaurant features page).
Delivery-app orders come in through UrbanPiper. This needs a separate UrbanPiper subscription, an Odoo Enterprise subscription and a reseller account with each delivery platform (Odoo 19.0 documentation, UrbanPiper).
Customers can only place QR or kiosk orders while the POS register is open (Odoo 19.0 documentation, Self-ordering).
Full-service and multi-location restaurants that want POS, online ordering and QR order-and-pay in one sales-led package
Lightspeed Restaurant is a cloud POS for restaurants, bars and hotels, with its own online ordering and QR order-and-pay module called Order Anywhere. It suits full-service and multi-location venues that want in-house, takeaway, delivery and table orders in one system. It charges a monthly subscription per plan (from 69 USD a month in the US), with online ordering included from the Essential plan or sold as an add-on, and card processing through Lightspeed Payments.

Online payments go through Lightspeed Payments (card, Apple Pay; Twint in Switzerland; Bancontact, Payconiq and iDEAL in Belgium and the Netherlands) or Stripe; customers can also pay in person at pickup or after a table meal.
Includes: Own ordering website · QR table ordering · Pickup · Delivery orders · Your own drivers · Scheduled orders · Online payments · POS · Loyalty · Marketing tools · Delivery-app integration · Multiple locations · Reservations
Online, QR table and in-house orders land in the same POS; Order Anywhere has pickup-and-delivery and table profiles, and customers can order ahead for a later date or time (Lightspeed help centre).
Delivery can use the restaurant's own staff with its own zones, fees and minimums, or Uber Direct couriers with 0% commission and only a per-delivery fee (Uber Direct in the UK, Germany, Canada and the US only).
Orders from Uber Eats, DoorDash and SkipTheDishes can be sent to the POS through Deliverect (an add-on), and Order with Google sends Google Search and Maps users to the Order Anywhere site.
Online ordering and order-and-pay at table are not in the 69 USD Starter plan; they need the 189 USD Essential plan or a paid add-on (A$59 a month in Australia).
Card processing rates are not published on the US pricing page ('Default' on Starter, 'Custom' on Essential and Premium).
Not self-serve: plans start from a quote request, and Order Anywhere is bought through an account manager or [email protected].
UK restaurants and groups that want commission-free pickup, delivery and catering ordering under their own brand, with QR order & pay and pay-at-table on the Pro plan
Storekit is a London-based ordering platform for restaurants: branded pickup and delivery ordering on the restaurant's own domain, plus catering pre-orders, QR order & pay, pay-at-table, digital tabs, kiosks and a native branded app on higher plans. The Basic plan for pickup and delivery is free; the pricing page's plan cards show Grow at £99 and Pro at £199 a month, rolling, while its comparison table says 'from £82' and 'from £166'. Storekit takes 0% commission but charges its own card rate on every paid order through storekit Payments.

storekit Payments, powered by Adyen, takes cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and regional payment methods (a June 2025 copy of the help centre has articles on accepting Klarna and on iDEAL in the Netherlands). Payouts arrive about two working days after the sales day. Payment currencies: GBP, EUR, USD, CAD, AUD, NZD, CHF, SEK, DKK, NOK, ZAR and ALL. The docs list Poland, Mexico, Turkey and Morocco as supported countries without storekit Payments.
Includes: Own ordering website · QR table ordering · Pickup · Delivery orders · Your own drivers · Scheduled orders · Online payments · Loyalty · Marketing tools · Branded app · Delivery-app integration · Multiple locations · Menu translation
0% commission on every plan and channel, no setup fee, and a free Basic plan for pickup and delivery with no monthly fee. Basic, Grow and Pro are rolling monthly, cancel any time (pricing page).
One platform for pickup, delivery, catering pre-orders, QR order & pay, pay-at-table, digital tabs, kiosks and a native branded app (App Studio). It works standalone or connects to the till: Deliverect on every plan, Toast, Square, Lightspeed and Stream from Grow, Syrve, Tissl and 3S POS on Pro (pricing page).
Delivery can go to the restaurant's own riders or be dispatched to couriers: Uber Direct and Shipday from Basic, Nash, Pedal Me and Orkestro from Grow (the homepage also names Deliveroo Express), with live tracking for guests (homepage, pricing page).
Every paid order carries Storekit's own card rate, and the current pricing page no longer publishes the figures. The docs list 3.9% + 20p per takeaway order on a rolling plan (2.9% + 20p on a 12-month plan) and 3.9% + 20p on catering.
In-venue and catering ordering need paid plans: QR order & pay, pay-at-table and digital tabs need Pro (£199 a month rolling), catering needs Grow (£99), and POS integrations other than Deliverect start on Grow. App Studio adds £99 a month and kiosks £69 a month plus £30 per extra screen (pricing page).
Loyalty, the till and table bookings come from other systems: loyalty and CRM integrations are not on Basic (Klaviyo, Leat and Como from Grow; Airship and Acteol on Pro), Storekit sits alongside an existing POS rather than replacing it, and bookings come through an OpenTable integration (pricing page, docs).
Whether restaurants in Norway can sign up and use it today: a local site, local pricing, local customers or a sign-up open to any country.
What it costs a small restaurant: the monthly price, any commission or per-order fee, and contracts.
What it does for ordering: your own website, QR table ordering, delivery, pickup and payments.
Menuthere is on the list because it is a real option here, and we put it where its strengths — no commission and a free plan — fit; its limits (such as payments outside India) are stated in its entry.
Nobody paid to be on this list. Prices change: check each company's own page before you sign.
