Online ordering systems for restaurants in Hungary, compared
No percentage on orders paid in cash. The website calls the webshop commission-free (jutalékmentes), but the terms (in force from 1 April 2024, still the version linked from the site) charge restaurants a 'software integration transaction fee' on every webshop order paid online by bank card or SZÉP card: 5% + VAT of the gross order total, plus 53 Ft + VAT, at least 120 Ft gross per order (terms 7.2.1).

Under the terms (12.13–12.15) the commission is worked out on the amount the guest pays after Barion's fees are deducted, and is debited from the restaurant's Barion balance at the moment of each card payment. The terms define the commission as due on orders placed through the platform whatever the payment method.

No lock-in period and no mandatory contract (home, pizza webshop and eSysPay pages).
Fixed-term or open-ended contracts (terms 3.4, archived copy, June 2025). Leaving a fixed-term contract early means paying the licence and support fees for the rest of the term in one sum as a penalty (3.6). Add-on services can be cancelled with 30 days' notice, but on a fixed-term contract their remaining monthly fees are still due (6.5–6.6). InnovAir can change its prices. The restaurant can then give notice within two weeks, and the contract ends at the end of the calendar year (4.1.5).
Depends on the country. Germany: 36-, 12- or 3-month terms (shorter terms cost more). France: 12 months, 3 months or no commitment. Italy: 12 months, 6 months or no commitment. Spain (DISH Premium): 12 months, 6 months or no commitment. Poland and Croatia: 12 months or no commitment. The Austrian, Czech, Hungarian, Romanian and Slovak pages show no term.

No fixed term: the contract is open-ended, either side can end it without giving a reason, and online modules can be cancelled at any time with immediate effect. A module switched on during a month is billed for that whole month, fees are billed monthly in arrears (the cycle turns on the 6th), a cancellation after the 6th still owes the next bill, and paid fees are not refunded. An account can be paused at a reduced monthly fee that is not published. Hardware rentals need notice by the 25th of the previous month (ÁSZF, 8 September 2025).
Open-ended contract with 90 days' notice. Notice must go by registered post with the director's signature specimen. The month you leave is billed in full, and Rillgo may bill the whole notice period in advance. Months already paid are not refunded. The webshop cannot be cancelled on its own, and it must be the restaurant's only own ordering webshop while the contract runs. A 7-day trial is available on request (terms 2.3, 4, 5.4, 6.2.11–6.2.14, 10).
No minimum term ('Hűségidő nélkül'). The subscription runs for an indefinite period, and the restaurant can cancel at any time from inside the system. FoodBird may change the monthly fee with 30 days' notice by email (terms, 30 March 2025).
A signed contract and a deposit before work starts: purchase (50% deposit), instalments over 3, 6 or 12 months after a 50% deposit, rental for a fixed or indefinite term, or an operating lease.
No lock-in on the paid plans ("Hűségidő nélkül"). Terms (13 April 2026): monthly-billed plans run for an indefinite term that the restaurant can end at any time with immediate effect (fees already due stay payable); annually-billed plans are one-year fixed terms that renew automatically for another year unless cancelled in writing before expiry. The monthly fee is charged automatically to a registered card through Barion on the first of each month.
Billed yearly or monthly. Monthly billing is only for cloud hosting (Odoo Online or Odoo.sh), and yearly billing is cheaper.

eSystem is a Hungarian Windows-based till (POS) system for restaurants, cafés, bars, fast-food places and pizzerias. It covers stock control, NTAK reporting, table booking and a commission-free webshop for delivery and takeaway orders, and it is built for Hungarian venues (it says 1,500+ use it). It charges a monthly subscription per till, 9,900 to 16,900 Ft + VAT on the published plans; the webshop, delivery and multi-till setups are quoted individually, and it takes no commission on orders.

In the venue: cash, bank card and SZÉP card, through eSystem's own eSysPay terminal or integrated Paynance, Teya, OTP and Qvik terminals. Online: the eSysPay page lists webshop payments, Apple Pay and Google Pay. An archived copy (April 2025) of eSystem's own webshop site, gastrowebshop.hu, listed CIB, PayPal, OTP and OTP Simple bank integrations. That site did not load on 26 September 2026. Partner FoodBird includes card payment in its base plan and sells online SZÉP card payment as a 9,990 Ft + VAT a month add-on.
Prices are published: Basic 9,900 Ft, Standard 13,750 Ft and Pro 16,900 Ft + VAT a month (eSystem pricing page). There is no lock-in period and no mandatory contract (eSystem home page).
The restaurant gets its own branded webshop with no commission and unlimited orders. It can set delivery zones and fees by district or by kilometre, set a minimum order value, take pre-orders and see each order's status live. Online, phone and in-house orders all go into the same till, and stock is deducted by recipe (eSystem pizza webshop page).
Orders from Wolt, Foodora, Éhen halok, Falatozz.hu and EasyPie arrive in the till automatically, and an API connects a restaurant's own webshop (eSystem pizza webshop page).
The published Basic, Standard and Pro plans do not list online ordering. Delivery and webshop handling appear as options in the quote-only eSystem Custom plan. The pizza webshop page names FoodBird (Üzleti Szoftver Kft., a separate company) as its featured partner for the branded webshop and app. FoodBird lists 26,990 Ft + VAT a month, plus 14,990 Ft + VAT a month for the eSystem integration and 22,990 Ft + VAT a month for its own iOS and Android app (eSystem pricing and pizza webshop pages, FoodBird site).
eSystem runs on Windows. It needs Windows 10 or 11, an i3 3 GHz processor, 8 GB of RAM and a stable internet connection (eSystem home page FAQ).
Each plan price covers one software licence on one machine and excludes hardware and VAT. Installation and call-out fees are quoted separately, and the entry Basic plan shows support, stock control and training as locked (eSystem pricing page).

OneMin, formerly OneMinOrder, is a Hungarian restaurant system from InnovAir Codes Kft. in Debrecen. It combines a POS with kitchen, stock and courier management, and adds optional modules: a commission-free ordering website, a branded iOS and Android app, kiosks, courier tracking, marketing tools and Onira, an AI phone-ordering system. It sells to pizzerias, fast-food places, restaurants, cafés and bakeries in Hungary through a callback request and sets the system up for them. No software prices are published, but the prices of its hardware are listed.

On OneMin ordering sites, customers can pay by card through Simplepay, with an OTP or K&H SZÉP card, or in cash (ordering-site code). A restaurant privacy notice on oneminorder.hu says customer data is passed to OTP Mobil Kft. for payment support. The home page lists OTP Bank and Teya among connected systems, and Teya card terminals connect to the POS (help centre). With the optional collection-escrow service in the terms, InnovAir collects the online payments, pays them out monthly after taking its fees, and the restaurant pays the bank transaction fees.

The ordering website and the branded iOS and Android app are sold as commission-free, and OneMin builds and maintains the website. Customers can pay online by card or SZÉP card (website and app module pages).
One system for every channel: waiter, phone dispatcher, website, app, table, counter, kiosk, Foodora and Wolt orders arrive on one screen, alongside kitchen routing, stock and daily reports (restaurant-system page; help centre on Foodora and Wolt codes).
Built for delivery: a courier app with live GPS tracking and route optimisation, GPS-based delivery zones, and order tracking for customers (courier tracking page, courier app listing, help centre).
No software prices are published. The site only offers a callback form, and staff reply 'within a few business days' (start page).
Under the June 2025 terms (archived copy), leaving a fixed-term contract early means paying all remaining licence and support fees at once as a penalty (3.6), and the ordering website OneMin builds is InnovAir's property, which the restaurant cannot change (1.12, 6.4.4).
OneMin ordering sites can charge customers a 'system usage fee' on an order, and neither the amount nor who receives it is published (ordering-site code, help centre).
Restaurants in Germany, Austria and other European METRO markets that want a fixed-price ordering widget for their own website and Google listing
DISH Order (sold as DISH Professional Order) is a commission-free online ordering system from DISH Digital Solutions, the restaurant-software company of the wholesaler METRO. Restaurants take delivery and pickup orders through a widget on their own website, their Google listing and their Facebook and Instagram pages, and handle them on a DISH order terminal. It costs a fixed monthly fee (from €49 a month in Germany, excluding VAT) plus a one-time setup fee, and DISH takes 1.89% of the takings on orders paid online.

Rillgo is a Budapest-made restaurant system built around delivery: a free ordering webshop, a courier app with GPS tracking, one screen for orders from Wolt, Foodora, Ordit, Éhenhalok.hu and Falatozz.hu, and a separate POS with a waiter app. It is licensed for use in Hungary only, starts after an online demo, and says its software has helped more than 550 restaurants. Plans are a monthly fee from 16,990 Ft + VAT (delivery, up to 20 orders a day) or 14,990 Ft + VAT (POS), and its terms add Rillgo's own fees on webshop orders and on orders paid online.

Every delivery plan includes a free, SEO-optimised ordering webshop that can run on the restaurant's own domain. Its orders arrive in the same screen as orders from Wolt, Foodora, Ordit, Éhenhalok.hu and Falatozz.hu (webshop page, courier-tracking page, pricing page, ÁSZF 6.2.8).
It is built for Hungarian rules: NTAK data reporting, NAV online cash-register printers, OTP and K&H SZÉP card payments, and VAT invoices that fill in company details from the tax number (pricing page, webshop page).
It has delivery tools for restaurants with their own couriers: an Android courier app with GPS tracking, route and address-order optimisation, automatic daily courier settlement and tracking messages for customers. Restaurants without couriers can call Wolt Drive couriers instead (home page, courier-tracking page, pricing page, ÁSZF 6.3.1).
It is not free of per-order fees, despite the 'commission-free' claim. The terms charge 5% + VAT plus 53 Ft + VAT (at least 120 Ft gross) on each order paid online by card or SZÉP card, and 60 Ft + VAT for each order carrying the 110 Ft + VAT system-use fee Rillgo sets on every webshop. Rillgo also takes 25% of tips paid through the webshop (ÁSZF 7.2, 7.3.9, 7.3.10).
The contract is hard to leave. It needs 90 days' notice by registered post with the director's signature specimen, and Rillgo may bill the notice period in advance. The webshop cannot be cancelled on its own and must be the restaurant's only own ordering webshop, and Rillgo can claim a penalty if it is not used (ÁSZF 6.2.11–6.2.14, 10.2, 10.6).
Online payments pass through Rillgo's bank account and are paid out weekly, only once they reach 10,000 Ft gross. A domain Rillgo buys for the restaurant belongs to Rillgo. After termination, Rillgo does not have to hand over the restaurant's data, which can be downloaded only with its prior written permission (ÁSZF 6.2.9, 6.2.10, 10.8).

The r_keeper Webshop charges no commission and sends delivery and takeaway orders straight into the r_keeper till. Menus can be shown with pictures or as a list, and the webshop can also be downloaded as an app (UCS news, 5 March 2025).
Wolt, Foodora and Falatozz.hu orders appear in the same POS and on the same kitchen tickets or screens, and a Deliverect link connects more than 100 other platforms (r_keeper Delivery page).
Built for Hungarian rules: closed and paid orders go to NTAK in real time, it works with Fiscat and other fiscal printers, VAT invoices go through szamlazz.hu, and the webshop takes SZÉP card and SimplePay payments (r_keeper product page, Delivery page, demo webshop terms).
No published prices and no self-serve sign-up. Every system is quoted, then bought with a 50% deposit, paid in instalments after a 50% deposit, or rented with a month's deposit, an installation fee and the first month's rent up front (UCS FAQ).
The webshop depends on the r_keeper POS. Items sync from r_keeper about once an hour, and only descriptions, photos and SEO fields can be edited on the site. Renaming an item or changing its category on the site makes the next sync delete it (demo webshop admin guide).
Standard support runs Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00, and starts work on a reported fault within two working days; free phone help on using the software covers the first ten minutes. Standby service outside those hours (7:00 to 22:00, 4-hour response) and 24/7 VIP service (2-hour response) cost a monthly fee (UCS service page).

QRiosum is a Budapest-made restaurant POS with a QR menu that lets guests order and pay from their own phone at the table, counter or festival stand, plus stock management, NTAK data reporting and Wolt and Foodora integrations. It is sold to Hungarian restaurants, bars and multi-unit food courts. The QR menu alone is free; QR ordering costs 19,990 Ft + VAT a month plus 2.5% of online orders, or the full POS 39,990 Ft + VAT a month plus 1.35%, with Barion card fees on top.

Online payments
Guests pay online by card through Barion (Barion Payment Zrt., supervised by the Magyar Nemzeti Bank) via the Barion Smart Gateway, and can add a tip while paying. Barion charges its own card fee (IC++), and QRiosum's commission is debited from the restaurant's Barion balance at the time of each payment. The QR Menü plan is free with no limits (0 Ft a month) for a menu without ordering; the menu can be set up in several languages with the venue's own colours and opening hours (pricing page, free QR menu blog post).
The full system (39,990 Ft + VAT a month) is a complete POS with stock and warehouse management, cash-movement records, multi-venue management, NTAK data reporting, Fiscat fiscal printers, Számlázz.hu and Billingo invoicing and Wolt and Foodora integrations. Its price does not rise with more devices, users or turnover, and the monthly fee is waived when online orders reach 15% of turnover (home page, pricing page).
No lock-in on the paid plans, with free installation and training and free on-site help on launch day (pricing page). Monthly contracts can be ended at any time with immediate effect (terms, 7.5). Support is listed as 0–24; the terms give urgent IT support around the clock and user support 9:00–21:00 on working days (terms, 4.1 e).
Not commission-free: QR orders cost 2.5% (gross) on the 19,990 Ft + VAT Online Rendelés plan and 1.35% on the full system, with Barion's card fees charged on top (pricing page).
Built for Hungary: the website is only in Hungarian (the /en/ address shows the same Hungarian page), prices are in forints, and the POS is built around Hungary's NTAK reporting and Fiscat cash registers (pricing page, devices page, home page).
Ordering is QR-based at the venue (table, counter or poster), as the terms describe (4.1). No delivery ordering of its own is described: delivery orders come in through the Wolt and Foodora integrations (delivery blog post, 19 September 2025; home page).

Odoo is a Belgian suite of open-source business apps. Its POS Restaurant app runs table service, kitchen displays, QR and kiosk self-ordering, and takeaway and delivery orders, and its eCommerce app adds an online ordering website. It suits restaurants that want the till connected to Odoo's accounting, inventory and marketing apps. One app, such as POS Restaurant, is free for unlimited users. Using two or more apps costs a fee per user per month (Standard is US$31.10 billed yearly), and the pricing page lists no per-order commission.

Online payments
Online payments go through a payment provider the restaurant connects. Options include Adyen, Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, Mercado Pago, Mollie, Xendit, Flutterwave, Paymob and PayU. Pay-on-site and cash on delivery are also available. In-store card terminals include Adyen, Stripe, Viva.com, Worldline, SIX, Ingenico, Mercado Pago, Razorpay, Pine Labs, Tyro, QFPay, Mollie and DPO Pay. QR self-orders can take one online payment method. At a kiosk, card terminals must be Adyen or Stripe, guests can also pay online by scanning a QR code, and cash is not accepted.
POS Restaurant is free with unlimited users on the One App Free plan, and the pricing page lists no per-order commission (Odoo pricing page; Odoo POS Restaurant page).
QR table ordering and self-order kiosks are built into the POS. Guests order and pay from their phone or a kiosk, and orders go straight to the kitchen preparation display (Odoo 19.0 documentation, Self-ordering).
Dine-in, takeaway, eCommerce website orders and delivery-app orders are handled in one place. Delivery can be limited to a set radius, and orders can be booked into time slots (Odoo POS Restaurant features page; Odoo documentation, Presets).
Website orders for delivery or pickup run through Odoo's eCommerce app, which is separate from POS. Installing a second app moves the restaurant off the free plan onto Standard, at US$31.10 per user a month billed yearly (US$24.90 in the first year) (Odoo pricing page; Odoo POS Restaurant features page).
Delivery-app orders come in through UrbanPiper. This needs a separate UrbanPiper subscription, an Odoo Enterprise subscription and a reseller account with each delivery platform (Odoo 19.0 documentation, UrbanPiper).
Customers can only place QR or kiosk orders while the POS register is open (Odoo 19.0 documentation, Self-ordering).
Whether restaurants in Hungary can sign up and use it today: a local site, local pricing, local customers or a sign-up open to any country.
