How do I tell WhatsApp customers my delivery charge?
By the Menuthere editorial team · Last updated
State the charge before the customer confirms: put it in your menu message by distance or area, and add it to the total they see.
- Keep the rule simple: a flat charge, or a few steps by distance, such as up to 3 km and 3 to 6 km.
- Write the delivery area in the same message, so people outside it know early.
- Add the charge as its own line in the total, never hidden inside food prices.
- Say if delivery is free above a certain order amount, and show how much is left to reach it.
- Use the same wording every time, saved as a quick reply.
Delivery fees worked out for you
Draw your delivery areas on a map and set fees on your Menuthere page. The customer sees the delivery charge at checkout, so you do not work it out by chat.
