For Polish restaurants and takeaways
An online ordering system (system zamówień online) lets customers order and pay on your own website, so you keep the order and the customer. Menuthere gives restaurants, takeaways and cafés in Poland one menu for collection, delivery and table orders, with prices in złoty and 0% commission on every plan.
Free plan: 50 orders a month and 0% commission. Paid plans from US$17 a month. Find your restaurant on Google to start.

What it does
It has two halves. The customer side is a mobile-friendly menu on your own link or domain: customers pick dishes, sizes and extras, choose collection or delivery, and pay by card, BLIK or on collection. The kitchen side is where orders land, on a dashboard, a phone app and a kitchen printer, so staff can accept, cook and mark the order ready.
The difference from Uber Eats, Pyszne.pl or Glovo is who owns the customer. On an app, the platform keeps the relationship and takes a share of every order, plus 23% VAT on that share. On your own system, the customer orders from you and you see their name and number. Most Polish owners keep the apps for new customers and use their own page for regulars.
What the apps charge
Published or reported rates, checked in September and October 2026. All add VAT to their fees, and Poland's standard rate is 23%. We found no legal cap on delivery-app commission in Poland.
| Platform | They deliver | You deliver or pickup | Joining fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Uber Eats | 30% (33% on Uber One orders) | 14% (12% on Uber One orders) | 1,000 zł activation fee, once |
| Pyszne.pl | Not published. Reported at about 20–30% | Not published; lower when you deliver yourself | Free to join, per its sign-up page |
| Glovo | 30% (small-business rate) | 15% on pickup | 600 zł activation fee, once |
Pyszne.pl doesn't publish its commission; each restaurant's fees are set in its registration form, so check your agreement. All fees are plus 23% VAT. Full breakdowns: Uber Eats commission in Poland, Pyszne.pl commission in Poland and Glovo commission in Poland.
Worked example
A Warsaw takeaway does 300 orders a month at an average of 60 zł: 18,000 zł in sales. Here is what each channel costs in a month and a year. VAT on the app fees is worked out at 23%.
| Channel | Fee | VAT on fee (23%) | Total a month | A year |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Uber Eats delivers (30%) | 5,400 zł | 1,242 zł | 6,642 zł | 79,704 zł |
| Glovo delivers (30%) | 5,400 zł | 1,242 zł | 6,642 zł | 79,704 zł |
| Pyszne.pl (about 25%) | 4,500 zł | 1,035 zł | 5,535 zł | 66,420 zł |
| Uber Eats, you deliver (14%) | 2,520 zł | 579.60 zł | 3,099.60 zł | 37,195.20 zł |
| Your own system (Menuthere Lite + Stripe EEA cards) | US$17 plan + about 570 zł card fees | No commission, so no VAT on commission | about 570 zł + US$17 | about 6,840 zł + US$204 (or US$170 on yearly billing) |
Stripe's rate for EEA cards in Poland is 1.5% + 1.00 zł, so a 60 zł order costs about 1.90 zł. If you're VAT-registered you can usually reclaim the VAT on app fees, but the commission itself is gone. Pyszne.pl's 25% is the middle of the 20–30% reported in 2026; enter the rate in your own agreement.
Polish VAT
In Poland, catering and restaurant services are at the 8% reduced rate, and some basic foods (such as bread and unprocessed products) are at 5%. Soft drinks, bottled water and alcohol are at the standard 23% rate, and so are the app fees. Menuthere lets each dish carry its own rate, so one bill can mix them.
| Line | Price (VAT included) | VAT rate | VAT inside the price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 × pierogi plates (catering) | 54.00 zł | 8% | 4.00 zł |
| 2 × cola | 10.00 zł | 23% | 1.87 zł |
| Delivery fee | 6.00 zł | 23% | 1.12 zł |
| Total | 70.00 zł | 6.99 zł |
In Menuthere, set the store rate to 8%, mark dishes Tax Inclusive and give drinks a 23% rate (basic foods such as bread, 5% where it applies). Set your delivery fee as a VAT-inclusive amount and ask your accountant how to record it. See tax and VAT settings.
How it works
Menuthere pulls your name, address and photos from your Google listing. Set the currency to PLN and the timezone to Warsaw.
Upload a photo or PDF and the AI reads in the dishes and prices. Sizes, add-ons and sold-out marking are built in. Moving from GloriaFood? Import that menu directly; it closes on 30 April 2027.
Collection, delivery and dine-in table orders, all from one menu.
Cash or pay on collection on Free. Your own Stripe account for card payments, BLIK, Apple Pay and Google Pay on Lite and above.
On your Google Business Profile, Instagram bio, flyers and receipts. Print the free QR codes for the counter and tables.
Each order rings on the partner app until someone accepts it, or switch on auto-accept. Tickets print to your kitchen printer.
Polish rules
Allergen information. Under EU Regulation 1169/2011, as applied in Poland, you must give allergen information for food that isn't prepacked. For online and phone orders this means the 14 allergens have to be available to the customer before they order, and again with the delivered food. On Menuthere, tag the 14 allergens on each dish on every plan, including Free, and customers see them when they open the dish. Add a printed allergen sheet to delivery bags too: make one with the allergen chart maker.
Prices including VAT. Polish consumer-price rules require prices shown to consumers to include VAT (the gross price). Show your menu prices as the final złoty amount the customer pays, and state any delivery fee or minimum-order charge clearly before checkout.
Receipts (paragon fiskalny). Sales to consumers in Poland generally have to be recorded on a fiscal cash register and the customer given a fiscal receipt (paragon). An online order paid by card or BLIK still needs to be recorded; most restaurants issue the paragon when the order is fulfilled, or an e-paragon where their till supports it. Menuthere is your ordering channel, not your fiscal till, so keep recording orders on your register as your accountant advises.
No card surcharges. Under the EU payment services rules (PSD2), businesses can't add a surcharge for paying by consumer debit or credit card. Build card and BLIK costs into your prices rather than charging extra at checkout.
Card and BLIK payments
Menuthere never touches your money. Stripe operates in Poland, charges in złoty and takes its own fee, with no setup or monthly fee on standard pricing, and Menuthere adds nothing on top. BLIK, Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported by Stripe in Poland; switch them on in your Stripe dashboard.
| Payment method | Stripe Poland rate | Per 60 zł order | 300 orders a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| EEA cards (Polish and EEA) | 1.5% + 1.00 zł | about 1.90 zł | about 570 zł |
| International cards | 2.9% + 1.00 zł | about 2.74 zł | about 822 zł |
| BLIK | Supported by Stripe in Poland | See Stripe Poland pricing | See Stripe Poland pricing |
Most Polish customers pay with Polish-issued EEA cards or BLIK. For the exact BLIK and card rates on your account, see Stripe's Poland pricing. See online payments.
