Ramadan & Eid
Take Ramadan and Eid pre-orders on your own page: iftar boxes and suhoor for a set time each evening, and Eid sweets and spreads booked ahead. Customers pick dishes, choose a date and time slot, and pay up front. 0% commission on every order. Pre-orders start on Lite, US$17 a month.
Ramadan 2027 begins around mid-February. Set this up ahead of the season. Lite is US$17 a month with a 14-day free trial.
A card starts the trial; nothing is charged until the 14 days end. Pre-orders with a date and time are on Lite and above. Ramadan 2027 is around mid-February, so there's time to set up well.

Plan ahead
Ramadan 2027 is expected to begin around mid-February 2027, and Eid al-Fitr follows at its end in mid-March. Dates depend on the moon sighting, so confirm them locally nearer the time.
That is months away, which is the point: the restaurants that handle the iftar rush well are the ones that set up pre-ordering in good time, not in the first busy week. This page is about getting ready ahead of the season, with no invented urgency.
What you pre-sell
Ramadan and Eid turn into fixed daily demand and a few big days. A pre-order page keeps it all in one list so your kitchen has the numbers before sunset.
Customers order iftar boxes or a family platter for a slot at sunset, days ahead. Each order waits in your Prebookings list, with the next hour at the top, so the kitchen plates on time.
Take Eid orders for sweets, kahk and large spreads with a day or two of notice, so you buy and bake to the right numbers instead of guessing.
Every Ramadan and Eid order is yours. Menuthere takes no cut. Card fees, where you take payment, go to your own payment gateway, not to us.
How it works
On Lite, with your menu already uploaded.
Add your iftar boxes, suhoor items, family platters and Eid sweets with sizes and photos. Mark the ones that need notice so a customer can't order a large spread for the same evening.
In Settings › Ordering › Prebooking settings, set iftar slots around sunset and delivery windows, how far ahead customers can order, and the notice you need per dish.
Take card payment up front for the pre-ordered food (Lite and above, through your own gateway), send a payment link, or take cash on collection. Paid up front means fewer no-shows during a busy iftar.
Open Share to copy your link, post it on Instagram and your Google listing, and print a QR code for the counter and your packaging. One link runs the whole month and Eid.
The Prebookings tab shows what to prepare and when, with the next hour at the top. Boxes go out in slot order, and kitchen tickets show the time each order is for.
An illustration
30 iftar boxes a night at US$20 each, paid by card up front, over a week. An example, not a quote; card fees are set by your gateway, not by Menuthere.
| Line | On Menuthere Lite | On a 30% marketplace |
|---|---|---|
| 210 boxes at US$20 (7 nights) | US$4,200 | US$4,200 |
| Platform commission | US$0 (0%) | −US$1,260 (30%) |
| Your plan | −US$17 (one month of Lite) | US$0 |
| Card fees | Set by your own gateway | Usually bundled into the cut |
| You keep (before card fees) | US$4,183 | US$2,940 |
Commission is the difference, and over a whole Ramadan it adds up. Lite is a flat US$17 a month however many iftar and Eid orders you take.
Good to know
Pre-orders are on Lite, not Free. On the Free plan customers order for as soon as possible. Pre-orders with a date and time start on Lite (US$17 a month), which has a 14-day free trial: a card starts it and nothing is charged until the 14 days end. See pricing and the restaurant pre-order system.
No separate deposit or no-show fee yet. To protect a large Eid order, take card payment up front for the food itself (Lite and above, through your own gateway), or send a payment link. That is the order paid, not a held deposit.
Large and corporate iftar orders? Point office and bulk orders at the catering ordering system, where you send a quote and an invoice for custom orders.
