How do I register my restaurant on Rappi?

By the Menuthere editorial team · Updated 26 October 2026

To register your restaurant on Rappi, sign up on the partner portal (Rappi Partners), upload your business documents (tax ID, ID or incorporation), your menu with photos and prices and a bank account, then wait for approval to go live. Rappi does not publish its commission: it is confirmed at sign-up, plus 16% VAT. Updated October 2026.

  • Sign-up is on Rappi's partner portal (Rappi Partners), not the customer app.
  • You need a tax ID, ID or incorporation, your business details, a menu with photos and prices, and a bank account.
  • Rappi reviews and approves before publishing your restaurant; you then manage orders from its panel.
  • The commission is not published: they tell you at sign-up, plus 16% VAT.
  • Also open your own commission-free ordering page so you don't depend on the app alone.

Add your own commission-free channel

While you use Rappi for discovery, open an ordering page, a QR menu and WhatsApp ordering on your own number with Menuthere, at 0% commission and a Free plan at $0. Then repeat customers order direct and you lose no cut per order.

What steps do I follow to register on Rappi?

Sign-up is on Rappi's partner portal (Rappi Partners), not the customer app. You fill in the business details, upload documents, load the menu with photos and prices, and add a bank account to get paid. Rappi reviews the application and publishes your restaurant once approved. After that you manage hours, menu and orders from the partner panel.

Sign up on the partner portal

Go to Rappi Partners and create your restaurant account.

  2. 2

Add the account where Rappi will settle your orders.

  5. 5

    Review and go live

Rappi reviews and approves; your restaurant appears in the app.

How much does Rappi charge at sign-up?

Rappi doesn't publish its commission openly: it is confirmed during registration and depends on the city and the deal. It is charged as a percentage per order plus 16% VAT, and there may be a sign-up fee, ads (Rappi Ads) and co-funded promotions. Ask for every cost in writing before you accept.

Should I depend on Rappi alone?

You don't have to. Many restaurants keep Rappi for discovery and, alongside it, open their own direct channel. With your own page you pay a flat fee and 0% commission, and customers who already know you order without going through the app. With Menuthere the Free plan is $0 (50 orders a month).

  • A commission-free ordering page with your link.
  • A QR menu on the tables and the packaging.
  • WhatsApp ordering on your own number with a copy of every order.
  • An order button on your Google listing.

Who this is a good fit for

  • Restaurants that want to be on Rappi to reach new nearby customers.
  • Businesses that also want their own link for repeat customers, alongside the app.
  • Owners who want to start their direct channel free while staying on the app.

Who this is not for

  • Those who want city-wide delivery without their own fleet: Rappi's marketplace fits that better than a direct channel with your own delivery.
  • Those who want to avoid apps entirely: then start direct with your own page and Google.
