For Israeli restaurants and cafés
An online ordering system lets customers order on your own website, so you keep the order and the customer. Menuthere gives restaurants and cafés in Israel one menu for collection and delivery, with prices in shekels and 0% commission on every plan, instead of paying Wolt about 27% of each order. Owners searching "מערכת הזמנות אונליין" can order straight from you.
Free plan: 50 orders a month and 0% commission. Paid plans from US$17 a month, with a 14-day free trial. Find your restaurant on Google to start.

What it does
It has two halves. The customer side is a mobile-friendly menu on your own link or domain: customers pick dishes, sizes and extras, choose collection or delivery, and pay cash on delivery or through your own payment link. The kitchen side is where orders land, on a dashboard, a phone app and a kitchen printer, so staff can accept, cook and mark the order ready.
The difference from Wolt is who owns the customer. On an app, the platform keeps the relationship and takes a share of every order, worked out on the total including VAT. On your own system, the customer orders from you and you see their name and number. Most Israeli owners keep the apps for new customers and use their own page for regulars.
What the apps charge
Wolt doesn't publish its commission in Israel; each restaurant's rate is set in its agreement. Restaurateurs told the press in 2025 that contracts set a 27% commission, a little less for busy restaurants, and that because it's charged on totals including VAT it works out close to 32%.
| Platform | Reported commission | Effective with VAT | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wolt | About 27% (reported) | Close to 32% | Globes via N12 (Jan 2025); a 2022 class action also cited 27% |
A restaurateur told N12 that Wolt applies its percentage to the whole amount including VAT (18% since 2025) and to delivery and service fees, which lifts the effective rate to about 32%. Orders from Wolt+ subscribers add about ₪3.80 on a ₪100 order. In March 2025 a restaurant association asked the Competition Authority to investigate Wolt; we found no ruling. Full breakdown with sources: Wolt commission in Israel.
Worked example
A restaurant does 300 orders a month at an average of ₪100: ₪30,000 in sales. Here is what each channel costs in a month and a year. Wolt's reported 27% is charged on the total including VAT.
| Channel | Commission | Total a month | A year |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wolt (reported 27% on totals incl. VAT) | ₪8,100 | ₪8,100 | ₪97,200 |
| Your own system (Menuthere Lite, cash / your payment link) | 0% | US$17 | US$204, or US$170 on yearly billing |
Menuthere takes 0% on your own orders; you still pay for your own couriers and any payment-link provider you use. The plan is billed in US dollars; your bank converts it to shekels. Enter the rate in your own Wolt agreement to work out your real figure.
If only 100 of those orders move to your own page, at 27% you keep about ₪2,700 a month. Model your own case with the delivery fee calculator.
How customers pay
Menuthere's built-in online card checkout uses the restaurant's own Stripe account, and Stripe does not open accounts for businesses in Israel (stripe.com/global). So on Menuthere your orders are paid cash on delivery or at pickup, or through your own payment link or bank details, always collected by you outside Menuthere.
After the customer pays you, you mark the order as paid in the dashboard. If you use an Israeli payment provider (such as a card-payment link or an app like Bit), keep collecting through it as you do now; tell us which one so we can consider it for a future gateway. Menuthere never touches your money and takes 0% commission.
Israeli VAT (Ma'am)
The rate. VAT (Ma'am) in Israel is 18% since 1 January 2025 and applies to restaurant food and delivery. Confirm your own case with your accountant. In Menuthere, set your store rate and mark dishes Tax Inclusive so the price customers see already includes VAT.
Tax invoices. Keep issuing your tax invoice (חשבונית מס) from your own invoicing system, including through the Tax Authority's allocation-number process for larger invoices. Menuthere is your ordering channel, not your invoicing system, so reconcile online orders with the invoices you issue.
How it works
Menuthere pulls your name, address and photos from your Google listing. Set the currency to ILS and the timezone to Jerusalem.
Upload a photo or PDF and the AI reads in the dishes and prices. Sizes, add-ons and sold-out marking are built in.
Collection, delivery and dine-in table orders, all from one menu.
Cash on delivery or at pickup. Add your own payment link for card payment.
On your Google Business Profile, Instagram bio and receipts. Print the free QR codes for the counter and tables.
Each order rings on the partner app until someone accepts it, or switch on auto-accept. Tickets print to your kitchen printer.
Local rules
Allergen and product information. Customers should be able to see what's in a dish before they order. On Menuthere, tag the 14 major allergens on each dish on every plan, including Free, so the information is on the menu before the order is placed, and add a short description for each item.
Prices. Prices shown to customers must be clear and include VAT. Menuthere shows prices in shekels with VAT included, and any extra charge, such as a service or delivery fee, as its own line at checkout.
